Jarware Spice Lids for Regular Mouth Mason Jars, Set of 2, Black and White

I love the ease of use and quality. I started buying my seasoning in bulk for my large army of boys I'm raising. The idea of have a close able shaker for my canning jars I already have is amazing. These are a great product.

I have a few spices that get used very quickly, and I purchase them in bulk to save money. But the bulk containers didn't fit in my spice rack (too tall!). So I was refilling a tiny spice jar every few days. That was annoying!These lids were a nice find. I can fit an 8 or 16 oz jar in my rack and these give me a shaker lid.They fit just as they should. The holes are bigger than those on a standard spice bottle, which actually works well for me. And the larger hole on the other half is nice because I can fit a measuring spoon through without completely removing the lid.Overall, the big reason I like these is because they make cooking a little bit easier. Anything that makes cooking a bit easier and less stressful... is very beneficial in our house!!

The side flaps do close extremely tight, nearly impossible to open. However, I was able to file down some material off the lip edges using a metal file and now the lids open and close with minimal effort. I think even a nail file will do, just would take a little more effort.

I like the convenience of these jars. I use one for flour because I save on wasting flour especially when preparing foods to be fried and also getting proper amount in making gravy. When I use some spices to make large quantity of soups, stews, beans, salsa ect.... they are real handy.

Redoing our spice cabinet into spice shelves, and I'm using mason jars for some mid to large dry goods, in particular bulk spices. I got these because there are a few spices, like garlic powder and italian seasoning, that I use often and get in large amounts, that I wanted the ability to quickly pop open and shake out.There aren't a ton of options out there for this purpose, but I came across these and decided to try them out. I'd have liked more options for colors, they've got a bunch color variety but their two packs are all mixed colors, so black and white was the most innocent of the options.The lids themselves feel sturdy, the plastic is decently thick, they have a gasket to help seal with the ring on, and the shaker lids open and shut with a nice snap. You need to pop the cap or angle the lid a bit to get it through a ring, but it fits very snugly afterwards.Overall these are a nice set of lids that should hold up as well or better than any regular spice bottle lid.

Absolutely thrilled with these lids! I can now have all my spices and seasonings in glass jars! They fit perfectly. No leaking, no moisture getting inside . I will purchase more of these.Super easy to clean, they open very easily, yet not too easy. The quality is perfect!I absolutely recommend these jar lid inserts.

The media could not be loaded. I was really excited to find this product as I have many mason jars that I would like to use as spice holders. Right off the bat there was residue on the inside which can always be washed away so no biggie. Next I would like to state that the insert does not snap into the mason ring so keep that in mind when assembling. You have to open the flaps to get it into the hole because the flap knot he’s stuck out. The thing that I was very disappointed about was that it’s ridiculously hard to open which is a catch 22 because you of course want it to close well. I’m just afraid that after some time you may open one day a little too hard and the flap will start to rip or my spices are going to flying everywhere after I finally manage to struggle it open. Sadly I can only upload one video so I can’t show the “assembly” portion of it.

I have enjoyed having these, but one thing to note before buys is that these tend to be hard to open at times. Some times it's so stuck I just have to unscrew the lid to be able to use them🤦🏼‍♀️😂
