Can I laser cut this material?

Not sure, I've never laser cut anything. But for comparison, I cut it with househld sissors. If the laser can cut what the scissors can, then youshould be good. If you're concerned about heat damage, I really don't have an answer for you. Good luck!

Is the odor as bad as some reviews have said?

I did not have a problem with a rubber smell. I have an unattached garage and was installing there. Did not have any problem with the odor when installing

Does anybody know if this can be used as a shoe insole thanks alot.

I wouldn’t use this for shoe insoles unless you’re able to wrap or line it with additional material. It can be cut, easily, but it’s bare rubber on the surface and will probably make your feet sweaty.
