Hi bought this kit to hold down new Alu. heads for a new 1961 small block chevy that can turn 8,800 RPM and sound grrrrrrrrreat !.

So I wasn’t expecting anything special with these studs given the price, but when they came in they where already pre-lubed and ready to go in. Installation was very easy, and quality seems pretty decent. Everyone should buy this so ARP can lower their damn prices. I will come back and edit after a couple weeks of driving.

I had gotten a set of these head bolts put them on and when I closed up my motor took the car out for a drive and first start the heads were leaking coolant. I thought I had gotten a set of bad head gaskets but when I took the motor back apart I had 2 broken bolts that were broken inside the block. Now I have 2 broken head bolts in my motor that I still unable to take out. The bolts were only torqued to 60 foot pounds and they still snapped on me. Wouldn’t recommend to buy would find something better then these because if you buy these then you will most likely get some broken bolts

Was definitely nerve racking seeing these are cheap off brand head studs but in my scenario I had no problems installing and torquing them down so I’m giving this product 5 stars. Fast shipping and what you see in the description is what comes in the package. Will buy againUpdate: 4 hard and high rpm months later and still no problems. Over heated the motor once by accident haha no issues

Going on a 06 5.3 came with one extra long bolt but everything torqued down fine. No leaks yet, will update if that changes

I would say that this is a very good bye I would hope that they would soon with the next set includes some grease So everything can go together more smoothly but other than that I just used my APR grease with it and it worked out perfect If you don't have that I'm sure some Polly grease would work out well

I was missing some studs and bolts but it looked as if it may have been tampered with. They are sending me replacements for the missing parts. I'd buy again.
