I read some mixed reviews about this Honest Beauty moisturizing cream, so I decided I’d try it out with the smaller size option, and I’m glad I did. I like that it has a neutral scent. It feels silky going on, but it left my combination (part oily-part dry) skin on my face greasy, which was disappointing. I did find that it works great (not greasy) on my neck, so that’s a plus. Still looking for the perfect, clean, affordable moisturizer to wear daily for these fine lines.

On the left side of the picture is with the cream applied and on the right side is without any moisturizer applied. This should be advertised as a nighttime cream because it is best used in the evening. I have combination, acne prone skin and found this moisturizer to be too greasy and sticky for wear during the day. When I wore it during the day, I felt like it made my pores more obvious and caused my skin to produce more oil. It never feels like it dries down, so it can feel sticky and like it just stays on the surface of your skin rather than being absorbed. That’s not ideal for daytime use but at night when I’m not working or sweating it keeps my skin moist and I wake up with glowy skin. I was going to return it at first but it’s a nice all natural moisturizer for nighttime use because it doesn’t break me out or make my skin itchy and it keeps my skin from drying out.

I usually, really like Honest Beauty products, but I was disappointed with this moisturizer. I bought the mini version for traveling (TSA compliancy) and to try the product. The product seemed mostly like water and it seemed that it didn't have any moisturizing ingredients.

I am 49 with combination skin. I have spent lots of money on face creams and all I needed was Hydrogel. My face looked as plump and hydrated when I woke up as it did when I put the product on the night before. I couldn’t believe it!

Bought this because I needed something a little more moisturizing than my usual acne lotion during the winter. It is moisturizing, but it also leaves a really sticky feeling and my face looks really shiny. Would only recommend using before bed or when not planning on leaving the house. I ended up washing it off my face before I left for work due to the stickiness, which is a shame because I was hoping my skin wouldn't feel as dry when I returned home.
