very nice quality
I've been looking for large coffee cups similar in quality and design to a discontinued line from a high-end store clothing & home accessories store that begins with the letter "A" (most of these are reselling for $20-$25 each online). This set has fulfilled my expectations. I was happily surprised to see they are labeled "porcelain", which is fired at high temperatures and resist chipping. They have a nice, solid weight to them. The patterns are cheerful & pretty, each one unique in color and design, and the cups are easy to hold either by the handle, or to cradle in my two hands. I plan to use them for coffee, tea, cereal, and even ice cream.
