I have purchased 4 Bonmedico seat cushions2 - donuts (standard and large).2 - seat cushions (standard and large)The donuts are NOT memory foam but a firm foam. The seat cushions ARE memory foam. However - I actually prefer the donuts that are not memory foam. The reason is that I sit for hours in a chair working on a computer each day so I sit on one of these items. After about 1 hour the memory foam is squashed down and my butt hurts. The donuts keep me elevated so I can sit for hours without discomfort.The larger donut in the attached picture was purchased in 2017 - I don't know if I ever washed the covers until now - but when I took it off, all the cooling gel pad was deteriorated and a MESS! It was no longer attached but in a ball in the front/back ends.

After having two kids which are now 13 and 11 as with all births you get the added gift of these wonderful items called Hemorrhoids. I had a few external but in the most recent months I have been driving for at least 39 miles every day twice to get to work. So they were getting mad and I was having issues sitting and driving with out problems. I read the reviews and got the larger one knowing that I was at this point in that range. I have since lost some LBS. so not sure if this is the reason. But the pillow is a bit hard and if I don't get seated right on it I just don't feel any better with it. I have to find just the right position to be good but some times im just like it's just not working to help. The quality of the outer cover is great. I don't know if after I use it a bit more and really get it set to my body if it will be better? So it's nice but I think that it has a bit of messing with to get it just right in the car seat. So if you are thinking of getting it I would probably use it at home for a bit to really work it to your body but limit the time on it at first. It will take some time to get used to. Going from sitting in the car to adding like 1-2 inches to the seat you really sit high in the car. It's not hard like some had reviewed but it's not a feather pillow either.

This pillow wedge has been perfect for my needs. It is used for the car seat. I've tried other car seat pillow wedges and they have tended to sag. This one, however, is very firm, and I feel much more comfortable when driving the car. I almost traded the car in until I started using this pillow. Highly recommend it for shorter people whose car headrest is way too high.

I am currently on a Foley catheter, and sitting upright on my mobility scooter (or even on a chair) for extended periods of time is very uncomfortable, as you can imagine. I needed a thicker seat cushion than the one I used pre-catheter (the purple gel mat, which is great, it just doesn’t work for me right now in my situation.) And I needed a wide “donut hole” in the center for positioning comfort.This cushion has made a BIG difference in my comfort level, especially while driving my mobility scooter. It definitely provides a nice buffer between where the catheter sits and the seat. Highly recommend.

I am from the UK and I had purchased this exact pillow on the UK amazon after having tried countless other seat cushions to no avail, the pillow I received in the UK from bon medico was exactly as advertised. It had a breathable other cover, it has a large wide hole in the centre that gave me ample space to rest my coccyx bone comfortably at different angles and relieve the pain I usually have. As advertised it was made from actual memory foam but it was thick enough to support my weight (240-270lb) without compressing down to a pancake, it still gave me support and that memory foam cushioning. To put it simply it was perfect and I've been using it for years.AS FOR THIS PILLOW ON AMAZON.COM, THINGS COULDN'T BE MORE DIFFERENT. So let me explain, I've been visiting my fiancee in the US for a few months and I needed a similar ring pillow, to my surprise I was glad to find bonmedico supposedly selling the same exact ring pillow on amazon.com with the same advertised memory foam, the exact same design and shape with the exception of the outer covering which looks like some mesh. So having trusted them before, and their product being as advertised on amazon.co.uk I pulled the trigger and bought this one in the USA. Boy was I mistaken.The bonmedico pillow from Amazon.com IS NOT MEMORY FOAM. I've did all manner of tests to it, it has no memory foam properties whatsoever - it's a cheap, VERY CHEAP dense, hard foam with no give whatsoever. You want some give in a pillow (without it pancaking), and support and that's what my UK one gave, THIS ONE is tantamount to sitting on a ring of plastic just about. So the claim that this is made from memory foam is a PURE LIE, it's nothing of the sort.Secondly, the mesh covering on the outer is extremely cheap and plastic feeling... it makes your cheeks sweat and has the added perk of staining anything you put it on... permanently. How lovely. Not at all like the fabric covering the UK one came with. It may look like my UK one, but in comparison it's a ripoff lookalike.I contacted bonmedico/bonstato and their reply was poor. Their explanation was that this was a supposed mistake and the differences were down to production line issues. Bull crap. They made a pillow as advertised, racked up good reviews then decided to squeeze more money out of customers and switched out the materials for cheaper alternatives to milk/fool their customers even more. They offered a 10% discount or return it to amazon during the coronavirus pandemic. Pfft.Avoid this pillow and this company like the plague. Deceptive people.
