Bonide Systemic Insect Control, 16 oz Concentrate Long Lasting Insecticide for Outdoor Gardening, Makes 16 Gallons

I use this mixed into watering water for potted pothos. I dilute much more than the directions say— a healthy splash in a gallon size pitcher of water. Knocked out a mealy bug outbreak.

Since the granules are not able to be shipped to more and more areas, this is perfect. Smaller container even and makes 10 gallons

I had scale on my indoor Majestic Palm and just could not get control with surface treatments. I brought it outside for the summer and then treated leaves and soil with Bonide once. Scale are gone. I brought it in for the winter about 2 months ago, and so far, no bugs! The odor is terrible, so I am glad I used it outside.

I was really hoping this would eliminate the scales for my banana Bush. I’ve used it three times now being careful to spray both the top and bottom of the leaves. At first I thought it might have worked a bit but perhaps that was just before the warm weather kicked in again. Also, can anyone explain how they can call this systemic when it’s not absorbed through the roots and distributed throughout the plant rather than having to be topically applied to the infected areas?

Tried 3 others that failed on Aphids, this worked but takes 3 applications to get the succeeding generations.

Have a tropical hibiscus (potted, not planted in ground) that was just getting destroyed by aphids. I tried every "natural" method I could find on the interwebs to try and get rid of them and nothing worked. I'd get rid of them for a few days and they'd be right back. I purchased this concentrate along with the Bonide granules. Sprinkled the granules in the potting soil and watered in as directed, then sprayed the plant with the diluted spray twice over the course of a week. Been aphid free ever since. Would definitely purchase again.

At the suggestion of my local Cooperative Extension, I spayed this on my twenty-five, 30' arborvitae for leaf miner infestation. Had a lot of damaged, brown leaves, but after using this product, their appearance improved immensely. Great product!
