I FOLLOWED ALL THE MANUFACTURERS CHARGING AND MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS AND THIS CHEAPLY MADE BATTERY FAILED AFTER LESS THEN (6) SIX MONTHS OF USAGE. NOT ONLY DID IT FAIL, IT MESSED UP MY COMPUTER BADLY. I HAD TO HAVE THE OPERATING SYSTEM REINSTALLED BY A LOCAL COMPUTER TECH AND I LOST TONS OF FILES, BECAUSE THIS CHEAP "BATURU" BATTERY FAILED WHILE MY COMPUTER WAS AUTOMATICALLY UPDATING AND BACKING UP FILES. MY ORIGINAL HP BATTERY LASTED MORE THEN (4) FOUR YEARS AND THEN IT SLOWLY BEGAN TO DISCHARGE MORE RAPIDLY, AS EXPECTED. THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE DIDN'T EVEN LAST SIX MONTHS AND IT JUST FAILED WITHOUT ANY TYPE OF WARNING, EVEN THOUGH IT INDICATED THAT IT WAS FULLY CHARGED. I THOUGHT I'D SAVE A FEW $$$ WITH THIS LESS EXPENSIVE REPLACEMENT BATTERY, BUT I GUESS "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". A REAL HP REPLACEMENT BATTERY WOULD HAVE COST ME $55 AND LASTED MORE THEN (4) FOUR YEARS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE COST ME $22 AND IT ONLY LASTED LESS THEN (6) SIX MONTHS, WITH NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. DO THE MATH AND DON'T BE PENNY WISE AND DOLLAR STUPID, LIKE I WAS. OBVIOUSLY, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I'LL UPDATE THIS REVIEW AFTER CONTACTING THE MANUFACTURER "BATURU"...UPDATE: DON'T TRUST THE MANUFACTURER "BATURU"! THEY ORIGINALLY SAID THEIR BATTERY WAS DEFECTIVE AND THAT THEY WOULD SHIP A NEW REPLACEMENT BATTERY. THEY NEVER SHIPPED A REPLACEMENT BATTERY AND THEY DON'T EVEN RESPOND TO ANY OF MY MESSAGES. A VERY DISHONEST COMPANY WITH CHEAPLY MADE REPLACEMENT BATTERIES. AMAZON SHOULD BAR THIS COMPANY FROM IT'S WEBSITE!UPDATE: I RECEIVED A FULL REFUND FROM AMAZON BECAUSE "BATURU" DID NOTHING TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER. AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE BEST!!!

Purchased in February 2018, I was real happy with it. In October the life of a charge went way down hill, wasn't sure if I should buy another????? I feel I do discharge and charge properly. In December, even though it was showing fully charged, I had to have my laptop plugged in to work.I emailed company regarding warranty, they shipped out a new battery fairly quickly. 5 stars for customer service!

I bought 7 months ago and it doesn't even hold a charge anymore. I worked well at first but then it stopped charging at 78% - that lasted a few weeks and now it won't hold a charge at all. I just let it charge for a few hours, unplugged it and it gave the notice that the battery is really low and then cut off. (This is the second battery I've bought that did the same thing).

I've been using this repacement battery for two months and couldn't be happier. The life of the battery is awesome. Didn't use laptop for a week and still had enough energy to run the laptop before recharging. Thank you Baturu it was a pleasure doing business with you.

I followed all the instructions given by the manufacturer and this battery still did not last long at all. It worked well for the first few months, then the battery life suddenly drastically declined. Now it does not last more than 2 hours (it used to last at least 4 hours). Lately my laptop abruptly shuts off, even when it is at 50%. I messaged the manufacturer for a replacement as I was still under their 12 month warranty, but received no response

Was great while it lasted. I've had this battery for 6 months. Not only is it no longer working, I have to remove the battery or my laptop won't power on. I'll be replacing it with a different brand.***Update: After posting my original review I was contacted by a company representative who offered to send a replacement battery. The new battery was received in November 2017 and is still working perfectly. Excellent customer service, would definitely purchase from them again.

Had it for 2 months now and battery holds charge well. Lasts 3 hrs on a full charge. Paid about $26.Update: Had it for 10 months and battery is now dead. Had trouble since 3 months ago, holding only 30 min charge. Have gotten worse steadily.

This was originally ordered thru Amazon. The new battery only lasted a few months. The company replaced that battery. Now, the replacement is failing. This battery supposedly had a one yr warranty. Someone needs to fix this by either sending me a quality new battery or a refund.
