Carhartt Men's Storm Defender Loose Fit Heavyweight Bib Overall

These worked great for me. Good fit and right amount of insulation for what I needed. I would call these medium weight, (not light weight and not heavy). I am 5 foot 11 and 215lbs and got the XL size. As another reviewer said they are a lot more quite that other bibs. While not silent they are not anoying by making a lot of rubbing noise like some gear. I am not sure I would call these water proof but are water resistant. I used these for an Alaskan fishing trip and they worked great. Quality seem good, but I have only had them 1 month. Overall design is good, I love the front pocket perfect size and overall very functional. Would recommend.

Fit is very good. I got xl regular.6’3” and 225-230lbs. I layered a puffy vest and hoody and plenty of room.4” of adjustment in straps available, so the regular works. Cuffs are right where i want them.Material is nice, looks durable.Pockets are good, i can fitbmy large phone in chest pocket.Water resistance TBD

Very comfortable and durable work wear. Not completely 100% waterproof but does a very good job. If you're working outside in the rain all day you will get damp, but not wet. You'll need a regular rubber rain suit to stay dry in that situation, but that won't be near as durable or flexible as these carhartt bibs. For my construction job, these are the better option

I absolutley love these bibs. I wear them x-country skiing and basically anything else I do outside in the winter. They're comfortable, well made, and loose enough that I can layer underneath. They do a great job of blocking the wind and they have a lot of useful pockets.

Rugged bibs. Great for winter work

I expected rain gear to be a little lighter but this is great. They are pretty heavily insulated for lighter waterproof gear. They feel great and the quality looks great. I would not recommend these for summer but I think they're going to be great for outdoor work in the rain and maybe snow. I will update once he tries them out. Keep in mind loose fit means exactly that. I would rather have had regular cut but it wasn't offered on this item. I think these will give him enough room for his long johns and work pants underneath.

These bibs are awsome, typical Cahartt quality. At 6-4 & 225 I tried a previous pair @ XL. They were a little big, and actually too long, I tried to adjust the straps all the way up, still too long....they were dragging on the ground. This pair I bought a size L, and it fits perfectly. Still plenty long. The caveat is my waist is rather slim, size 36. These could probably fit a 38 waist, but I would say nothing lager.

Love these. Fit great, not too small. Excellent material. I got them for work but they are too nice to tear up honestly
