One of my cats really enjoyed this! I’d read other reviews wishing it was a soft/cloth toy so cats could actually catch it, but I think it works well as a hard toy or my cat would constantly have it stuck in his claws. Unfortunately, it only took a couple of days before it was going in tight circles and generally not working very well. I do my best to keep the wheels clean, but it just slowly moves in tight little circles now. A better quality if this exact item would be perfect. Perhaps make it easier to take apart the wheels to clean out hair. Cat toys are obviously going to get full of cat hair.

My cat is scared of everything, so the noise this makes is too much for him. He is the definition of a Scaredy Cat. (We have all hardwood and tile. It is real loud on anything other than carpet.) So I gave it to my daughter and her cat loves it. It moves around great.

My cats love this toy and will follow it around for quite a bit. The biggest issue is that there's no way to quickly clean the wheels on the snake. I have two long-haired cats and unless I vacuum twice a day, there will be tufts around for the wheels to pick up. I can have it running for 10-15 minutes before it starts to go in a circle because one of the wheels stopped working. I can only pull at it as much as possible, but there's some stuck in there that I cannot remove. The snake moves a lot slower now, and I'm pretty sure that it will stop working altogether once the hair wraps around the wheel shaft so tightly that I can no longer remove it.

Even though mine didn't think much of it, it performs very well. I guess my cats have never seen a snake before.
