I have been using Lime Crime Unicorn Hair for over 3 years now and it has never disappointed me. The Chocolate Cherry shade is such a beautiful color that looks vibrant and rich right after coloring. The color payoff is excellent and it always leaves my hair looking bold and shiny. I’ve also tried Genie, Sea Witch, and Valentine, and every shade has turned out stunning.One of my favorite things about this dye is the scent. The sugary citrus vanilla fragrance makes the application process so much more enjoyable. It doesn’t smell harsh like other dyes, which matches perfectly with how gentle it is on my hair. After rinsing, my hair always feels soft and conditioned rather than dry or damaged, and I’ve never experienced breakage from using it.The dye is very easy to apply at home, whether with a brush or just gloved hands, and it washes out of my shower without leaving any stains. The color is long-lasting too. I usually go about 2 months before I need to redye, and even then it fades gradually into a softer version of the shade instead of looking patchy.Overall, this is hands-down the best semi-permanent dye I’ve ever used. The colors are vibrant, the scent is amazing, it’s easy to use, and it always leaves my hair in great condition. Absolutely worth the money for the quality and results. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would.

I’ve been trying to find a green colored dye that is more green than blue once you use it. I absolutely love Lunar Tides dyes, but my green would always come out more blue and fade down to a very obvious blue. This dye though!! It’s perfect! It’s the exact green I was looking for and I love it! It smells great, was easy to apply, and didn’t dye my skin afterwards. It would run in the shower when I would wash my hair, but it never transferred to my clothes or pillows. It also lasts a long time! This picture is after a month from when I first dyed it, no touch ups! My hair is dark brown, so I did have it lightened before applying the color. This is now my go to color and brand!

I have 1 year grown out ~recession blonde~ balayage highlights and darker blonde natural roots that I am having a hard time accepting lol so I got bored and tried this and the Juicy (fuschia hot pink) color turned out so great on my hair. I've gotten tons of compliments and no one can believe I did it at home without bleaching first. I leave it on for at least 1-2 hours before rinsing. Smells amazing and does not damage hair! If you have virgin hair it will wash out a bit quicker, on my highlighted ends it definitely soaked up and lasted longer. Pics of my hair before, right after rinsing and air drying, and 2 months out from first use. I wash 1-2 times per week with a nice shampoo (Pureology hydrate) and it seems to make it last much longer. It fades nicely into a lighter softer pink over time. It may stain you counter so best to put down some newspaper. didn't stain my white shower/tub but I kept some bleach spray handy just in case, I'm sure other showers may differ. I purchased a cheap bowl and brush and some pink gloves and disposable hai plastic caps to put over while letting it process on my head.

I love this brand of hair dye. It is definitely semi-permanent. It’s not as vibrant if you don’t have platinum hair, but if you don’t wash your hair with shampoo every time you can stretch it to last longer . I have been using the pony color for over a year and love it and we try juicy for my daughter that has a strawberry blonde hair and it looked really cute on her without damaging her hair but I love about this is it’s not going to damage her hair, but allows her to have the fun of the color for a month or so

Smells amazing goes on nice and is long lasting how ever it is not as vibrant as you think it is and turn out aloud darker I ended up liking the coler though

Easy to use and I stained nothing doing a peekaboo. This was on some natural dark blonde, some faded magenta (some hot pink, some lighter pink) and a few strands that were already a pastel purple. Left on in foil and a plastic bag for about 1-1/2 hr. Total. Love the results. Probably wouldn't do anything much on my natural dark blonde but I bet my grays would take it.

Love, love , love how easy this is to use and the easy clean up. However, the first time I shampooed a few days after coloring, the color faded right out. I had processed it for 35 minutes, and it looked great - not super bright, but I wasn’t looking for that. But after two washes, the color is barely visible. My goal is to color some gray and have an overall fun hair color without damaging my hair.

My preferred vivid dye is no longer available so I went on a search for something new. I've been using the same brand of dye for years now, and my hair is used to the formula. Having to change is hard as you never know how it will hold. I'm so pleased that this is staying in my hair.. I have dark brown hair and I bleach it before adding the vivid dye. I saturated my hair and let it sit for a few hours under a shower cap (to keep moisture and heat in). When i removed the cap there was a lot less transfer of dye to the shower cap than I expected. It really dried down on my hair, staining it--exactly what a good dye will do. Does it transfer? Yes, my pillow case has a purple stain where i sleep--but that is the only place I've noticed a transfer. a place where I lay my head for 8+ hours at a time, daily. I've no transfer on my clothes or towels. the color is vibrant and gives good coverage--I put it over my faded out purple. I'm excited to see what this formula fades to. I think it will fade more pink, but we shall see. it's been more than two weeks since I dyed my hair and it still looks solid. The jar is a good size, so I'll get several uses out of it--I'm used to 2 oz tubes, so while more expensive, you're buying 3 to 4 uses.
