Reasonably priced alternative to Nikon lack of stock works fine on D5600
I'm using this adapter to power a Nikon D5600 that's attached to a copy stand for tethered shooting to a PC. The battery adapter fits perfectly in the camera, and the included power supply works just fine. I'm super particular when it comes to only using quality power supplies, especially for things connected to expensive gear. I purchased a higher quality replacement supply to work with this battery adapter, a Meanwell GST60A09-P1J (requires DC PLUG-P1J-P3B as well) to use with the battery adapter.I tested the included supply and the Meanwell using an electronic load. For the nerdy details, the Meanwell has a 3-year warranty (vs 18-months on TKDY), provides better voltage stability (under 5% variance from 9v from 0-5amps), and is much cooler under load (4A draw for 20 mins saw 148F temps on TKDY, 104F on Meanwell). I also trust the Meanwell name, and own a dozen different supplies from them over the years. If you're looking for something that simply works, you can use the included adapter, which will work fine. If you want to optimize your setup, pairing the battery adapter with a better supply will give safer, more long lasting solution.

Very great and extended the length of my time-lapses 350 percent!
It is easy to use and is really nice for taking time lapses that would normally run my camera battery dead. I have gotten some really good aurora pictures because of this. It also fit my camera like described.

A Handy Accessory in a pinch
I have been doing a lot of video recording lately on my Nikon D3300, and unfortunately had to deal with dead batteries in the middle of a session. I read about this on a blog about someone who was using their DSLR with OBS Studio and recommended this. Now I can record my videos indefinitely until I stop. Also did a small session with this, the block keeps nice and cool, and it was easy to set up.

Works with Nikon D5300
Got this to record takes for short videos and microscopy photos with my Nikon D5300. No issues with the adapter or power brick. The only thing I've had is the camera auto closes the shutter after like 8 or 10 minutes so using this for time long exposures or time lapses would probably not work too well, but that's a software issue not this power adapter.

Works as needed.
I use this for time lapse photography over a period of weeks that would otherwise completely drain my battery in no time.

(GOOD AFTER REPLACEMENT) Plugs connectors with different sizes.
WOW, After claiming for a replacement, I can now say it's worth it, everything came well and unexpectedly fast (just two days to arrive) . As I said before, it docks well and works well on my Nikon D5600. 5 * 's.My previous review: "The plugs to connect the battery with the power supply is not the same size. I tried the battery adapter with my Nikon D5600 and it is ok, it fit to my Camera. If when I receive the replacement it connects correctly, then I will give it a good rating, for the moment it did not deserve a star."

Love it. No more running out of battery power in a studio setting.
I have various collections and I like to photograph them to add to the slide show for my PC's screen saver. Now I can shoot for as long as I like and not have to worry about battery life or swapping batteries. Stupidly simple to use. Plug one end into a wall electrical outlet, plug the other end into your computer just the same way you would insert the battery. The cord was plenty long enough for my use. If you are gonna do a lot of shooting, especially on a tripod, where you are going to be near an electrical outlet, I highly recommend it. (No, it's not a battery. You unplug it, you got no power)
