Tea Box Storage Organizer for Tea Collections, 8 Compartment w/Solid Lid (Black)

This is a great little storage box, well finished and solidly constructed. Bear in mind that this isn't an heirloom piece built from hardwoods, meant to last multiple lifetimes and hand down through the generations. That said, for what it is and the price they're asking ($40 USD at time of review) it's hard to beat.The paint (I chose the black coloration) is even and consistent. The panels are smoothly finished, precisely cut and joined together perfectly flush. The felt liner is firmly attached with no bubbles. The internal dividers are finished a little more roughly than the box itself, but the paint is again even and consistent as well as being a perfect color match with the box. They are also fully removable and/or configurable to a degree; with a single vertical panel removed you can fit two twenty-bag boxes of tea within the created space, cardboard and all.Finally, the worth of a hinged box hinges on... well, on its hinges; and these are excellent. The hardware is mounted solidly in spaces milled to fit, the quadrant arms keep the weight of the lid off the hinge barrels with no trouble and there is very little flex or play to the assembly with the lid open. I imagine half the cost to produce these boxes is in the hinges, and it's money well spent.For what you pay you'll get a solid little box, handsomely finished and predominantly constructed from sustainable materials, that without abuse will easily last long enough for your children to see you using, if not long enough to actually inherit. All in all, a fantastic value and I may buy another.

This box is beautiful. An elegant way to store tea. I like that tea bags can stand upright. Also, a great gift for tea lovers!

The box is well built and has a very nice cherry stain, The big plus is that the hinges are recessed into the sides so the lid closes with no gaps. This is a very nice feature that I was not expecting. The inside bottom and lid are lined with felt. The lid has a little Bamboo Tea Leaf logo etched on to it that is nice. I was able to put in normal sized tea packets (the sealed type) standing up in each compartment and the lid did not touch the packets. I wanted to have ability to stand up many different types of tea so people could look through them for something they liked. Many of boxes had reviews that said the packets could not be stood up and showed pictures with the tea packets all laying flat in the compartments. This means you can only see the top one unless you pull them all out. This box allows you to thumb through all the packets in the box so I think it allows easier finding of a certain tea. Overall a great value for an elegant tea box.

The media could not be loaded. Slightly pricey compared to other options, but I bought this as a gift for a tea lover, so I wanted it to be of a certain quality. This seemed to be the most standout of the lot of tea chests I was looking at on the site. It did not disappoint! The separator is removable and the inside is lined with velvet, which adds a touch of luxury to it. Well-finished with no rough edges/splintering and the color is gorgeous. The gold hardware is painted properly as well. The hinges and the box as a whole is sturdy, although it was not stated what sort of wood was used for this. I bought it in the Cherrywood finish. But it has a nice weight to it. Sufficient heftiness that doesn't make it feel filmsy. I like the L-hinge that was used, which keeps it open without the cover just flopping over. Would be great if there were the option for it to not have the logo inside (plain) or have an option for customization (e.g. Engraving on the outside/application of a metal engraved plaque or changing what is printed inside) for gifting options, but that's just a wishlist and doesn't take away from the quality of this lovely box. I love it and I'm sure the receiver will too when Christmas comes round!

I am a "tea-aholic." I love variety and having a tea box is so much easier than pulling out each of my teas from the cupboard trying to decide which flavor I want (all Twinings). I bought a cherry tea box several years ago, but my tea consumption has grown the tea box that I have just wasn't big enough to hold all the different flavors that I usually have. The box that I have was no longer available so I found this one. It matches the cherry finish as the first one-it just isn't as big as the first one. So, this one I keep my decafe/herbal teas in. (The other has my caffeinated teas in)I LOVE this box. It is beautiful and well constructed. The price is right. I can fit so many teabags in it. It is so easy to see all the different flavors. The biggest problem is deciding which flavor I want.

I am enjoying this tea box. It is reasonably sturdy for a bamboo box.

This is a beautiful and very well made tea-box, perfect for organising one’s teabags in a stylish and sensible way. Fits larger bags like Stash, seems very sturdy (though I’ve not had it too long) and it opens and closes beautifully. All in all a very worthwhile purchase for the discerning tea drinker. I imagine it would work well for other organising as well.

I love tea, but my tea was never organized. I'm so happy with this tea box, it is great quality, and I was able to organize my tea. Now, I don't need to go into my cabinet and go through tons of tea boxes. I just go to my pretty tea box on the counter and choose a tea. It really is so nice to have a nice way to organize my tea. Now if company comes over, I can take out my tea box, and visitors can choose their favorite tea. It came packaged very nicely and in perfect condidition. If you're deciding on which box to get, this box is excellent!
