Earvolution Floating Putty Buddies Swim Earplugs, Moldable, 10 Pair Pack

Got these for my son since he got tubes in his ears and it’s been a life safer. Plugs into their ear canal/shape perfectly, and comfortable for them to swim and move around. Easy to clean and can reuse wish is nice. The material and adjustability/durability of these are awesome and its an added bonus my son can still hear us with them in, so doesnt cancel noise!

My youngest son was born without eardrums, and it has been a struggle his entire life to keep water out of his ears. Because without the protection of the eardrums, he gets horrible ear infections whenever the slightest amount gets in there. After years of battling, his new ENT recommended we try the EAR-BAND-IT. It was heaven sent!!! With it came our first pair of PUTTY BUDDIES. At first, we were like, great another set of silicone ear plugs. Then after using them, we came to realize that they are NOT like all of the others. PUTTY BUDDIES are lighter and more malleable. They spread a lot easier than Mac's or any of the other brands on the market (and believe me, we have tried them all!) and provide better protection as well. Not only that, but they float too! Which is actually a feature that we have not had to use yet, because not only does he wear his EAR-BAND-IT, but PUTTY BUDDIES are a little more tacky than other brands, so they stay put very well. One of MY favorite features, as the mom that has to keep up with them, is the little case that comes with them. It makes my life so much easier. My son is now 8 years old, so we have been using PUTTY BUDDIES and the EAR-BAND-IT for over four years. We will use the other brands in a pinch, but we always go back to PUTTY BUDDIES. He recently had one ear drum successfully grafted, so we only use them for his left ear right now, but it didn't stop me from ordering another 10 pack recently. Honestly, I cannot recommend these earplugs enough, and when used (properly) in conjunction with the EAR-BAND-IT, PUTTY BUDDIES will keep your ears water tight. I am so glad that our ENT recommended these to us so many years ago, because without them, water play would be a whole lot more frustrating. My son dives and swims just like every other kiddo, and as long as he has his "ear stuff," we don't worry about any infections. Side note: We always try to get the 10 pack, because it comes with 10 cases as well, while the 3 pack only comes with one case for 6 plugs.

I anticipate using these for many years to come! My child had ear surgery and has to have their ear protected against water for several months. We started using them post-surgery, but my kid likes how they keep water from bothering their ears in general. Other brands' pluggies were uncomfortable, being stiffer and less malleable. The Putty Buddies are perfectly soft and comfortable. Each single plug lasts us about 2 weeks'-worth of baths/pool/water play before it gets too sticky/falls apart. They fit perfectly into the outer ear and really seal the water out. They seem to give a decent amount of sound reduction because my kid doesn't like to hear me when two pluggies are in. We like to use them with an Ear Band-it, just to make sure they stay secure, but they stay pretty well on their own too. The would be pretty discreet if they were a different color, but my kiddo wanted hot pink, so they're loud and proud. They do look really nice though.

These are our favorite ear plugs for littles with tubes. They actually stay in and are easy to shape to fit even the smallest kids. Just wish you could use them for more than a handful of times.

My kids both had tubes in their ears so we had to use ear plugs around the water. We live in Florida so we were are in the water constantly. These are some of the best sticking ear plugs we have found. Each set is good for 2-3 trips to the pool before they lose their stickiness and start to pop out from time to time. The bright colors make them easy to see so you know they are where they should be or makes them easy to find should one pop out. We spent a small fortune on ear plugs and always come back to these.

These work! I am so excited to find a solution that I immediately felt I should write a review to help others. My son is a competitive swimmer, and we were concerned his summer goals were going to be cut short after learning he has a perforated eardrum. We tried many different variations of earplugs, and none of them would stay in his ears. We thought his season was over, until I ordered these! They are very soft and pliable, and after an hour of intense practice, his ears remained dry and he didn’t complain about them ot try to fiddle with them. So easy to use. I highly recommend trying these, even if you have had trouble with the standard silicone plugs. These are softer and mold to the ear perfectly.

Works awesome for my 6 year old. Keeps water out and able to be reused.

It's a little hard to get a proper seal so water doesn't leak in. When they stayed seated with a good seal they worked well. I used them with the recommended headband, but it seems like the headband rubs against the plugs which may have had something to do with them not keeping seated. Also when I have them in I can't hear normal conversation in the pool or really any conversation.

These work very well and are very comfy for my child, easy to use, they do the job of keeping the water out of the ears

We've only been using them for a short time, but so far I'm very happy with them. Before, I got water in my ear and it became inflamed. With these earplugs, no water gets into my ears. A huge advantage is that no matter whether your ears are small or large, the earplugs mold perfectly to the shape of your ears.

They go sticky after a few uses probably due to chlorine?

A lifesaver if you have a grommet and need to prevent ear infections from water ingress when washing your hair. Recommended.
