Best curtain rods EVER
I've bought many, many curtain rods over the years and these are the BEST. Sturdy, no bending even when fully extended (with medium weight drapes), solid- and the wraparound feature maintains privacy and darkness for blackout drapes. They're ultra-smooth, and curtains glide easily when opening or closing them. Note that in drywall it's best to use toggle bolts (the kind that spread out behind the wall). I'm a drapery person, collect them, and I change drapes often, so best of all is how EASY this task is with this clever design. You simply unscrew one end (with one hand), and remove the entire length of the rod(s) or extension rod, take it down, and replace the curtains. No fumbling to reattach the rod ends to brackets at each end. Just insert one end and screw the other end in a few deft motions. I'm clumsy, all thumbs, with poor manual dexterity and it's a SNAP, so easy! I bought three of these (both the double rod and the single), in two colors, and they've held up for years, work and look great! Highest recommendation.

Best curtain rods ever
I’ve had these for years and just ordered more for our new house. Best curtain rods ever. Easy to install, very sturdy, and sleek looking. I actually use them on all my windows, not just the ones that need black out, because I don’t like traditional curtain rods where you see the ends of them. Don’t listen to the reviews that say they pull away from the walls either - those folks likely didn’t anchor them into the wall correctly. I used the anchors provided and they were fine on our walls, but depending on the weight of your curtains you may want to use a heavier duty anchor. I used the self drilling type when I reinstalled them in our new house and it worked very well. Also, don’t listen to the reviews that say they don’t help with black out - they totally do provided you use some good black out curtains (and black out liners on the inner rod). We’ve used them in our babies/toddlers rooms for years and they sleep great and are never woken up by the sun blaring in! Best rods ever, seriously!!!

Love the look :)
It is the neat, minimalist look I want in a double curtain rod. Installation of the rod itself is very easy even though I did it on my own; I am a 5ft tall woman. The difficulty in installation has nothing to do with the rod itself, but a metal behind the window that resulted in the nail and mounting sustem not being able to be fully inserted into the wall. I modified the mounting system to accomodate the challenge. So far, it stays in place steadily even though I open and close the curtains a few times a day. The only thing I am not a fan of is the connection/extension of the rod that hinders the smooth opening and closing of the curtain. The heading of the curtains I purchased from Ikea have threads that stuck at the connection every time I open and close it. I might put a tape over it... because of this inconvenience I took a star off.

Easy and user friendly to fix
We had curtain rods which was heaving and difficult to remove and fix it again. Once we got this Umbra Twilight Double Curtain Rods, it was a breeze to fix it on the wall. The rods are so light yet strong to hold the curtains. Very easy to remove and fi it back. I would recommend the silver color as it disappears within the curtains. The curves on the sides of the rods helps the curtain wrap easily and give a aesthetic look to the whole window. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cost effective and functional curtain rods for their windows.

Stylish and functional Curtain Rod Set
The set looks great we love the fact that it holds two curtains making the space feel vey luxurious. We bought this to treat a very wide opening. The only drawback of the piece is that as it reaches the limits of its length the tripartite Rod becomes uneven and wobbles significantly. However, this all goes away once the weight of the curtain provides enough tension. The other benefit this set has is that it wraps around the corner, which allows the curtain come meet the wall and minimize light filtration. It is the perfect complement to room darkening curtains. This is the best solution out there for minimalist, functional design with great spans. Review update: got to any hardware store and get #10 wall anchors and the appropriate drill bit. The wall anchors that the set brings are terrible and the loading of the rod will make them dislodge from the wall.

Really Easy to Put Up, Clean Finished Look
We bought a new house and multiple rooms needed curtains and sheers. I bought a few different double bars from Amazon (this one), Lowes, Target, and Wayfair respectively. This was the cheapest, but surprisingly it was not only the easiest to put up (according to my husband), but it looks nicer than some of the more expensive options as well. The "one piece" unit has a cleaner finish than the cost twice as much option from Lowes, and the piece feels pretty solid for the $37 that it cost. I didn't rate sheerness because it didn't seem relevant. Functionally, it's outstanding. And the look is nice as well. Nice job, Umbra!

Fantastic double curtain rod to span patio door!
I am so happy I landed on this rod of the 50+ I looked at! I wanted a double rod that would span the entire 71" patio door with no middle arm since I have 4 slim panels on each side which I needed to slide over to the middle to cover. I opted for the full 104" version, knowing the the middle rods would be doubled inside each other, hoping that would be more robust, to avoid sagging. But then I also worried about the weight and the anchors pulling out. Other reviewers said the drywall anchors were not robust enough but we tried them anyhow... I put up all 8 panels on the rod and it was robust and has no sagging whatsoever, even after +1 week. In fact after pulling the curtains across a few times I decided to install the middle arm in case someone decided to pull on them, and you can see in the pics the arm isn't really even needed to hold it up (we installed it slightly below). All good and looks sharp, the curtains pull all the way back to the side to hide the light. My main curtains are mid-weight, lined, thick polyester, I'd say heavier than average.

The hardware included needs to be upgraded.
PROS: 1. They are pretty, once they are installed. 2. I like the design. The curve that reaches the wall. CONS: 1. You’ll need to buy— heavy duty wall anchor that expands. 2. Why? If you don’t hit a stud, the weight of the curtains rips the anchor included out of the wall. This added wall repair to the chore. 3. Watch the weight of your curtains. I put up sheers and they were too heavy. If a toddler pulls on the curtains- they are coming down on their head. 4. Don’t try to put the curtains up yourself. The metal is weak and twists if someone isn’t holding it steady. 5. The screws are thin and short. 6. The screws thread and head strips easily. We found heavy duty, stainless at the hardware store. 7. Although I like the design that allows for room-darkening curtains, however, the weight would pull the inferior hardware out of the wall. Adding sheers would add too much weight. Note to manufacturer: Include expanding anchors and heavy-duty screws. If possible, create a new design for the hanger that allows for longer and thicker screws. The inferior hardware and design undermines the beauty of your design.

Perfect Rod
We love this curtain rod! It is easy to install, strong and sleek. My husband said he wishes we bought this years ago and for every window in the house. Paired with a blackout curtain it works amazingly at blacking out our room (better then our $500 blackout blinds) :D We will likely purchase more!

Easily spans with no sag
I am extremely picky when it comes to home décor items. It's taken me forever to finally find a dual curtain rod I love that DOES NOT have those stupid balls/spikes/points on the end. This Umbra double rod is incredibly sleek and functional. Most double rods have 2 tiers - that is your sheers will dip lower than the black out curtains (or vice versa). This keeps them all on the level. This rod not only spans my entire bow window but it's sturdy and doesn't allow anything to sag. I highly recommend this product and wish I had more windows!

Easiest curtain rods to install
Anyone looking for a minimalistic look, your search ends here!! I spent about a month looking for curtains and curtain rods and where I live, there aren’t many options (for me anyways). After about six trips to bed bath and beyond, two trips to ikea, another four to Bouclair, we finally found the best fit for our needs! SUPER EASY to install and if you’re adding more curtain panels, you don’t have to use any tools! Highly recommend this product!!
