Smooth/quick paced but not overwhelming.
Easy to understand. A good mix of strategy and luck. The quality of the cards is nice and they were easy to shuffle. My elderly parents LOVE this game. I really enjoy this as an option because it is fun but more importantly the turns are quick. You are NOT sitting there waiting 2-3 minutes while someone is looking thru their hand to play a card. I feel like young kids (as long as they can count and understand value) could enjoy this but they might need help with scoring.

Fun game for ages seven and up
Easy game to learn and play. Ages 7 and up can enjoy the game. It is mostly luck but there is strategy involved as well. We have played with adults and children and all have fun with this fast paced game. It only takes about 15-20 minutes to play a round. You can keep score or just play round to round.

Fun Family Game
Purchased this game upon a family member's recommendation. We've had a lot of fun with it. It's easy to learn, and once you've played it a few times, you begin to realize there's some strategy to it; it's not just a matter of exchanging a higher card for a lower one. Two people can enjoy it, but it's more fun with four or more. This would be a great game for kids, too. The game is small and compact, making it easy to pack and take on trips. Because there are so many cards, they have to be shuffled in batches, which is not a problem in of itself, except that these cards are smaller than the average playing card and feel thicker, making them difficult to flex and bend for shuffling.

Great Family Game
Thrilling, annoying, deceptive, strategic, and addictive all describe Skygo. This colorful card game can keep you at the edge of your seat for quite a while. If you happen to be hungry while playing Skygo, well you are in luck, as the manufacturers claim that “when playing, your hands are free, so you can count points or eat snacks.” In other words, if you are at a family gathering playing and want to chow down on some food, go right ahead. You will not have to worry about dropping the cards as they are not meant to be kept in your hands but rather stay on the table in a 3x4 grid, of which the cards are initially facing down. If you like looking at the cards you have directly, this may not be the game for you. Sound strange and need more details? You may begin looking at your cards whenever it is your turn either by taking the card from the preceding player or the top card from the draw pile. This is where all the excitement starts! You could have the luck of a lottery winner by receiving a -2 (the lowest a card can go) or not so much when you pull a 12 (the highest a card can go) from the draw pile. The strategic part then comes in, as you decide where you want to place the card. You may get rid of a column by having three of the same upward facing cards. It may be nerve-wracking when you replace a downward facing card with the one you just chose as you could have just awarded the next person the card they have been aching for the past few rounds. The smartest move, however, could also be the riskiest move by placing a card that the next person needs in your grid, blocking them from going out. The goal of the game is to have the lowest amount of points until someone has revealed all of their cards. If someone were to reveal all of their cards, every other player is given one last chance to better their score. Also, you could be the reason why the person who went out first has to double their points if you happen to end with a lower score than theirs. Yes, this game is fairly simple and yes, this game is similar to many other games (golf, Uno, etc.), but that should not stop you from buying this game. Even though this game has an easy concept, it allows for nice and smooth gameplay with everyone at the table, regardless of age and attention span. For the young ones, this game brings in an educational value with addition and learning how to take turns. For teenagers, young adults, and adults of the family, this game is strategic. This especially holds true depending on how many people play the game. If there are two people, the low point cards will be flying everywhere. However, if there are eight people, the best move could be collecting the higher cards and placing them in a column (3 cards) to get rid of them. While some may say that they have “no clue how to play” or “took a while to learn,” some may find a bright side to that. A few practice rounds in and you could potentially find yourself having fun with others.

Easy to learn and fun to play!
This is a fun game. Easy to learn. You can play with 2 or with 8 people. If you enjoy playing cards, you will enjoy this game. It would be a good learning game for kids. They can learn math skills by adding negative and positive numbers at the end of the game. There is some strategy to this game and the game moves fairly quickly. You can play several games or move on to another game. The card quality is good. I thought the price was a little high for a card game but if you plays cards and games this is another fun one to add to your collection.
