TOMY Transformers Japanese Masterpiece Collection Ultra Magnus Action Figure MP-22 [Perfect Edition] by Transformers

This figure is very worthy of its name as a masterpiece figure. Great attention to detail with incredible chrome-like detailing. The figure is very large and the box even larger, so keep this in mind. Originally i was put off by this figures price. However after spending a long time thinking about it, i finally bought it. I have not regretted it and i believe the high price is relativity justified. As Magnus is relatively large with bold colours it makes him great for a collection or as a solitary display piece. However this large size and bulky nature does reduce the maneuverability of the upper arms and legs. But overall i highly recommend this product to any transformers fan looking for a masterpiece figure.

This toy is incredible. I'm a huge fan of Ultra Magnus, particularly his character design, and this figure completely nails that G1 Magnus goodness. First off, he is MASSIVE. He towers over the rest of the Masterpiece line (with the exception of Star Sabre, who I could not care less about). This may be an issue for you, as he was always portrayed as larger than, say, Optimus Prime, but not THIS much larger. MP-10 doesn't even come to Magnus' armits. If this is an issue for you, be aware, but there is a reason for this, and the reason is that his transformation is AWESOME. The original G1 Ultra Magnus was a white Optimus Prime clone with a separate trailer that transformed over his body to make the recognizable Ultra Magnus we saw in the cartoon and animated movie. MP-22 transforms fully from a truck with attached trailer to robot form in a seamless way that is incredibly fun and intuitive. All the mass from Magnus' trailer being included in his robot form is why he is so much bigger than Prime, who has a detachable trailer (you can also detach MP-22's cab from the trailer in vehicle mode, just because it is that cool of a toy). Being as massive as he is, Magnus is not as posable as the smaller Masterpiece Transformers, but he has a reasonable range of motion, and nice, heavy die-cast feet to keep him from tipping over. You can detach his shoulders slightly to make him more posable, and there is a full third-party shoulder replacement kit available, but really he's great as he is. Ultra Magnus also has some neat extras, like changeable faces (he comes with "stern" and "yelling", which is SO Ultra Magnus), a chest compartment that can fit MP-10's Matrix and hands that can grip it (but not the Matrix itself; booooooo), a big rifle, and some weird and kinda blobby-looking figures of Spike and Daniel Witwicky that can sit in his cab in vehicle form (not gonna lie, they have never even been removed from the packaging in my house). Yes, Ultra Magnus is expensive. But when you get the package in the mail, it will feel totally worth it. This is a fantastic figure with tons of attention to detail and extremely high quality across the board. The Spike and Daniel figures aren't great, and Magnus doesn't look as incredible from the back as the front, but who displays their Transformers' backs? I recommend MP-22 with no reservations, he is the best toy.

ザ、箱ロボです。 あのゴツイロボモードから、ビークルになるのがスゴいです。変形工程も簡単ですが、個人的には、腕パーツが長くなるので、取り回しに手間取ります。立たせるのか、寝かせるのか悩みます。 可動域も、思いの外良く動きます。 価格も高いため、コンボイの購入予定はなかったのですが、コンボイと並べて所有したくなりました。きっとそのうち購入してしまいますね。 保管場所があるかたは、購入して損はないです。

Impressive. It is exactly like the MP-22 video reviews. doesn't come with the matrix, but has 2 sets of hands. One regular set and another for holding the matrix. We have a matrix from the MP Optimus Prime. Also comes with 2 sets of faces. And the White retro magnus that's under the blue one.

Vous êtes collectionneur de MP je n'ai pas beaucoup d'arguments à vous apporter, cette figurine est tout simplement splendide, et elle est gigantesque!!!!! La transformation en mode véhicule n'est pas trop difficile, le mode robot est parfaitement ressemblant au dessin animée des 80's
