This looked a little used when we got it. There was a hair stuck in the hinge and what looked like a burn mark on the inside. But, it's an ashtray and is only going to get nasty, so whatever. The lid doesn't stay closed by design, which means it would be messy if knocked over. I fixed that putting a tiny neodymium magnet under the rim inside and now the lid stays closed and I don't worry. It's really attractive though and looks like a little sculpture instead of what it is. Love that about it!

A very sturdy and safe ashtray which closes and snuffs out any possible embers.It also decreases odors from extinguished cigarettes permeating the room. Easy to clean.I highly recommend.

Had an issue with husbands cig ashes getting on the floor, especially with the ashtrays that don't actually hold the cigarette although it has about 5 slots to place a cig. This thing has not only a slot but a shelf, its great. Cleans out easy and no stinky smell oozing from it while its closed. Very helpful and may have saved his head from another slap.

We absolutely love this product. Spouse ordered one after using mine so soon we will have two. We smoke on our screened in patio that has a dark table and dark floors. With our regular ashtray, ashes would go everywhere because of the ceiling fans but with this one, the ashes stay contained. Nice that the lid shuts too. Our patio looks much nicer now.

I like the ashtray has a sleek stylish design only thing I had problems with its when you put the lid down after putting cigarette out smoke still escaped from around the seal of the ashtray around like where the hinges are so I get a little customizing to it and it is perfect now.
