This works very well. We have large iron particles that come directly from our well and although we have full filtration for the home our outside water directly from the pump house is not filtered and was clogging all the screens for our automatic watering system for the garden. Installed this and it has completely eliminated particles from getting to the auto watering system. With the amount of particulates we get, it does need to be cleaned weekly

looks like a well made filter. Easy install and flush. I installed this as my filter to my irrigation system that comes from a well. My old filter was a pain to clean. Only had this for about a week so we will see. My system gets a lot of sediment so I am hoping this new filter stands up to it.

I got this filter for hydroponics system I am using. I did not know how much stuff was flowing through my system until I put a ph probe in the chiller water return line and started to get funky readings. When I took the probe out I found it loaded up with stuff, so I added this filter. I have tried using up to a 800 gpm pump and this filter works well. I ended up getting a couple spare 100 mesh filter elements so I can swap them out faster and clean them latter. The 100 mesh seems to be doing a good job, and I have to clean it out every couple days. I thought about the 200 mesh option but that could be too fine and plug up too much. I have noticed that I have to be careful about the seal on the clear cap, it has fallen out a couple times and I did not notice until I turn the system back on. The cap needs the seal or it will leak. One downside is I have not been able to find any replacement seals for the inevitable I really loose the seal or I break it. I would rather buy a seal than a whole new filer. My next filter will have a replacement seal available.

This is a very good filter. I use it on the output of a 1,000 gallon rainwater tank to screen out any leaf trash that may have gotten in the water. I don’t want anything that might plug drip irrigation or put wear on the pump. These is very easy to take apart and clean and can see when it’s getting dirty with the clear outside. Great filter.

Works great, amazing what the mesh filter catches. Only issue is that it leaks unless you really tighten. I see that folks add teflon tape but if your cleaning it weekly that could be a PIA.
