Ok, so I was a bit apprehensive about buying this as it’s quite a bit to spend on a lawnmower and some of the reviews put me off slightly.I did encounter some minor issues with setting up, the mower kept pulling the wire out of the pegs and it would get caught in the wheels. This was quickly fixed by just burying the wire which worked perfectly and looks a lot better too. I found the app works ok, but you have to be close enough for Bluetooth to connect which can be a pain, but I have set a schedule so it doesn’t make much of a difference.It doesn’t quite get all the edges so definitely will need striming every now and then but I can put up with that.Overall really happy, easy enough to use. Cuts the grass as you’d expect and being able to adjust the blade height is great. Very quiet when mowing and I’m impressed that it manages our slope absolutely fine.Customer service was also great, they even went the extra mile to try and get it delivered quicker before I was away. 5 Stars from me!

Initial setup is a bit tedious as expected,The software and ergo of the unit is clunky and outdated, but was happy to put up with that.Unfortenately the motor starting doing a really loud grind noise 1 week after setting everything up(tried cleaning up/oiling up/etc with no success),Einhell UK basically said "we dont deal with returns, contact amazon within 30 days", so if you want a product with more than 30 days warranty, buy something else.

Does exactly as its suppose to set it up June 30th, took about 1 hour to lay the wires. First photo is the day it was set up. The next photo is today grass still as short and a lot greener (the rain may also have helped). Included a photo of the edges so this is a month and a half's growth would now need to strim but the path edges are perfect as you lie the wire along the path it gets right to the edge. My lawn is split by a path I created a small area that crosses the path and it navigates it perfectly. The rain sensor does its job and so does the bump sensor, however the bump sensor works when mowing but it follows the wires one way to get home if there is an obstruction on its path home it will get stuck it wont go around, I had to change my post lights along the path to spot lights that I have dug into the lawn and now it's fine. The update process is easy enough, but some of the instructions could be clearer. You also need to unlock it from the lawnmower first and tell it to go home before the app will work.

Bigger than expected. Set up wasn’t too difficult m. Does the job and saves me from mowing. App is rubbish as you have to be near the mower to use it. Can’t get it to work with Bluetooth either and to update the software you have to download onto a usb stick. Could be easier but hopefully they will fix this

Works well even though there is no logic to it's cutting direction, seems to go over the same area many times. Comes out and works for about an hour then goes back to recharge and comes out again! we have a large lawn and it takes about four outings to cut the lawn, misses the odd bit but on the whole it does a good job.Sadly I haven't been able to get the app to communicate with the mower yet, the app finds the mower but will not log on? It seems that I will have to read the instructions again!Over all it seems to be a good product for the money.

I bought this in February 2023 to replace a Flymo 1200r that worked perfectly for 6 years but had recently stopped working (I left it outside during winter which probably wasn't ideal).The Einhell mower seemed like a good idea. It appeared to mow well enough when set up but is much more sensitive to positioning of the boundary cables than the flymo, often getting stuck or just stopping. So I repositioned the cables when this happened - but there was a lot of trial and error.The way the mower returns to the base station is a bad design - basically it follows the boundary cable all the way around the garden (as opposed to flymo, gardena etc that have a guide cable running across the garden). This means every time it needs charged it followed a path around the boundary and if the ground is wet, ends up churning up the soil and grass. Worse than that, if a plant in a border grows out a little, the mower will just get stuck and churn the ground up and then stop.But that's just the beginning of the issues - mine often (like every couple of days at best) just would not dock to recharge. The cables and base station were positioned correctly and I repositioned several times to no avail. The Bluetooth also failed and then the unit just totally died. I reported this (seemed to start happening after the 30 day return period) and got terrible 'help' from Einhell Customer Services suggesting that I try repositioning the cables (I'd already advised that I'd done this). This was followed up with gibberish about the Bluetooth issue translated from German that made no sense. I was then advised to issue a warranty claim (even though I was within my statutory rights period) to a different Einhell department. After going round and round in circles I had to get Amazon to step in to organise a refund.I don't write reviews very often but this product and aftercare is so bad that I just had to.Do yourself a favour and spend the extra few quid on a decent one. I replaced this piece of junk with a Flymo Easilife which has worked perfectly since I installed it.
