Great headset it broke when I dropped it though

Was looking for a replacement to the standard Xbox headset and dont like both ears covered, this one is comfortable and works great.

The sound from the speaker is very crisp and clear. I like the open cup design of the speaker side so I can keep the game sounds on my sound system in my livingroom. I like the glasses-friendly cup design of the speaker. That's a great feature.No one has complained they can't hear me, so the mic must be better than the last headset I had, because I have a pretty quiet voice. There is a little black foam padding on the non-speaker side, but it's kinda' firm for my liking. The band across the top of your head is sometimes so tight that it gives me a headache and I have to take it off to get a break once in a while. As far as the headband, I'm not sure what I can do... it seems like it got bent in a small circle being in the small box that it came in. Maybe I can find a box about the same width as my head and store the headset on that box while I'm not using it. Maybe that would stretch out the plastic headband and make it more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I regularly play for 2 to 3 hours when playing online with friends. The headband tightness starts to bother me after probably 1.5 hours, then I have to take breaks here n there after that.

Great size and quality especially for the price.

Where to even begin. I give this headset 1 star, and that is only because the option to give out negative star ratings is not an option. Even for the $15 bucks that this costs, this thing is absolute garbage. When purchasing this headset, I had absolutely no disillusions that I was buying something on the low end of the spectrum in terms of quality, what so ever. However, I figured that I would at least be purchasing a working product that functioned as it is advertised. Boy, was I just flat out wrong lol. Calling this headset garbage, or a waste of money, and honestly really time as well, for waiting the days that it took to be delivered, and delivered late I might add, doesn’t even fully encompass how bad this thing is. It is insanely uncomfortable in every single way, and “Adjusting” the size does nothing to make it more comfortable what so ever. And I say adjusting that way, because their idea of what adjusting actually means, is very skewed from its actual definition lol. When they say it adjusts to different sizes, what they mean is that the band that goes over the top of your head slides up and down through the a slot in the ear piece, by doing so does absolutely nothing to improve the overall way it fits your head lol, and the extremely rigid plastic that said band is made out of, literally does not change shape, as in bending or being somewhat flexible, so that it actually sits comfortably on your head. You would literally have to like heat up the plastic in some way in order to bend it, and then hold it there so as to reshape the plastic in order to make it the shape of an actual human head lol. Even the ear piece is very uncomfortable, because it has very limited padding, and where there could be more padding, the space for it is sacrificed and made even smaller to accommodate for it's notable ability to accommodate people who wear glasses, so that the glasses don't come in contact with anything at all. It's like apparently Turtle Beach just thought "screw the larger Percentage of people who don't wear glasses. Let's deisgn this headset for the minority group of people, those who do wear glasses, so that only those people are comfortable wearing them". Makes no sense what so ever. Then there is the fact that they do not even work as advertised. The description for them flat out states that this headset is a "chat only" headset. Meaning that game sounds can not be made to play through the headset, but only through the tv as they would without a headset. When buying a headset, I always look for a chat only headset, because I hate headsets that play game sounds through them. I have never understood how anyone could even like having game sounds played through the headset in the first place. I can't play like that. I need chat only specific headsets, because I cannot stand having game audio, AND chat playing through my headset at the same time. And even though it clearly is advertised as a chat only headset, it is in fact a game audio and chat headset. Making the advertisement a flat out lie. And then on to on top of all that, the damn thing doesn't even work lol. I can hear people, sometimes, but no one can ever hear me at all ever, even when I am not muted. Do yourself a favor, and do not buy these. They are an utter waste of money, even if they only cost $15. Absolute trash. Do yourself a favor, and shell out a bit more money on a good headset that is more comfortable, and actually works.

Overall it's what you expect for it's price. The most disappointing part is that the mic just kinda hangs there and touches my neck often. I have to keep adjusting it constantly even tried super gluing it in place. The mic itself seemed to work well enough but with my old controller it echoed a lot. Just got a new controller it doesn't seem to echo anymore but now I can hardly hear one. So idk.. Kind of ok if you don't wanna spend a ton of money but also a bit iffy..

I don't know why the reviews for this chat mic are so bad. Its light weight, breathable, glasses friendly and under $20. No it's not a stereo headset, it's for back & forth communicating only. When I first plugged directly into my xbox controller I noticed sound was muffled. Which did concern me because of alot of other reviews stating volume output is weak. This is true, but if you'd simply google this headset & volume problem. You would see you must adjust audio volume in your settings. I did this, night & day difference. Much better then the Microsoft chat mic they provided with my console. Give this mic a try if your looking for name brand, good bang for your buck cheap chat mic. I also have a stereo headset but like to wear this when I need to hear my actual surroundings haha. Hope this helped.

I originally purchased the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 wireless headset. It is a great headset with stereo sound and the wireless works great with my Xbox One X. However I found that my ears got all hot and sweaty from the ear cushions after a few hours. Additionally I found I didn't like the sound isolations as I couldn't hear anyone talking even though they were right next to me. So I ordered theres and I think they are awesome. These are meant just for chatting with your online team mates-they don't offer any game sounds. That is fine with me as I have an audio-video receiver with 7.1 surround. I wear glasses and the head band part does not interfere with my glasses. I didn't notice any discomfort at all after a three hour Destiny 2 session. This headset plugs into the 3.5MM jack on my Xbox One X controller. I can adjust the volume on the headset with the slider, or through setting on my Xbox unit. I can't beat the price for value and I am completely happy with my purchase.

Super cheap headset, but a million times better than the cheap-o Xbox basic headset which Microsoft charges more for. I just bought a new one to replace my last one (same model) that lasted many years before the mic finally gave out. It is just for chat, don't purchase this thinking that you will get gamesound through the earpiece. Super clear sound, and I am told that my microphone is very clear on the other end. If this headset had doubled in cost since thr last time I purchased one, I would still buy another, without hesitation.

It's a great headset, I prefer it to the standard one that comes with the xbox. When I opened it, there was minor assembling needed (slot the loop into the headset, easy, too easy...) What's it like to use you ask? The headphone actually doesn't rest on your ear, the 'cup' rests above and below, suspending the speaker off your ear instead. t'is comfortable indeed, but a little more cushion on the non speaker end would be good. It doesn't dig in, it'd just be nice, don't be tight TB. Also it's lined with holes so you can hear what's going on around you better, which is great if you're like me and prefer your surround sound, or you need to hear something in one ear other than the mad gibber jabber of your party. On that note, the sound of the gibber jabber is of a good quality, nice and clear as you'd expect from TB. I was surprised at how light the headset is for its size (I guess from the holes) but it's nice and sturdy. Survived an 8ft drop onto tiles no problem, I'll tell you later. The mic seems bit short but it picks up my voice no problem and its bendy, so you can switch between left and right ears, heck, put it on your forehead. The speaker will go loud enough for you to hear it. So. All in all it's a good headset, lightweight, comfortable and definitely worth buying if you need to replace your xbox headset with something similar.
