HAVE BEEN ON THIS PRODUCT FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS AND COULDNT BE HAPPIER WITH IT. AM 72 YRS YOUNG AND HAVE RA. ONE YEAR AGO I STOPPED TAKING ALL RHEUMATOLOGY PRESCRIBED RA MEDS BECAUSE OF SIDE EFFECTS( I WAS TAKING MAXIMUM DOSE OF METHOTREXATE EVERY WEEK AND HUMIRA INJECTION EVERY 2 WEEKS) AND DECIDED TO GO THE NATURAL ROUTE. I've been prediabetic for a long long time. What does this mean? My eating habits have changed as well, now I get fuller faster and stay full for hours. My weight is slowly coming down, I've lost 6lbs since I started taking this. It works for me but this is no guarantee that it will work for you. However, in addition to a low-carbohydrate diet and lots of exercises. Seems to be helping me (personal opinion) with the sugar cravings in that I don't seem to have them so much so this is a win-win for me. I have managed to get off both Metformin and Insulin and replace them with Berberine. I don't know exactly what Berberine is supposed to do; a friend remarked how great she felt so I thought I'd try it. I can't believe I feel so good taking it -- and I miss it when I don't take it. I can't really describe it, but I'll do my best. When I take Divine Bounty Berberine, I have more energy without being manic; I feel happier without being inauthentic; and I feel healthier. After several health problems in recent years, I had found myself leaning towards an extremely sedentary life. With this supplement, I feel like getting up, like doing what I can, and if I have a setback, it seems I can rebound easier. I don't actually notice a huge difference until I've taken it for 2-3 days, and, because I'm not the greatest about taking regular medications, I don't notice a downward difference until I've stopped taking it for 2-3 days. "I've recently tried Divine Bounty berberine, but unfortunately, it hasn't performed as well as other brands I've used. While I'm currently using a brand with a proven 90+% purity rating, I've found that I need to take two Divine Bounty pills to achieve the same results. Additionally, many studies suggest taking 500mg of berberine 30 minutes before meals for optimal effectiveness. Divine Bounty only provides a stated 400mg, which is already a lower dose. Combined with its lower purity, I believe it's significantly less potent than the brand I'm currently using. For the best value, I recommend investing in brands with validated purity ratings.

I tried to open it and i put a quarter if one caspsule in my shake that i split with my husband.. knowing it was bitter i even added a tblsp of sugar.. DEAR GOD IT WAS AWFUL!!!.. i mean undrinkable.. i can tolerate a lot but i couldnt even do it.. had to throw it out YOWZA! I havnt taken long and i know you have to cycle it because it can be hard on your liver.. Ive taken one a day after my carbiest meal.. i havnt noticed it making my sugar too low so i do believe its glyco normalizing vs lowering when unnecessary. . Im very sensitive and my sugar drops easily so im pleased with that.. Im using it also as an immunity booster to get rid of a stupid viral remnant and it feels like its helping. Been two weeks .. so far so good.
