Good strong metal bird feeder- easy to fill. Birds love it but is not starling proof as they can get to food easily. Still glad I bought it. If you can come up with starling proof one I'll buy it too!

A great size, with a cage around to deter bigger birds and pigeons, who steal everything! Well made and sturdy! Good value for money. It looks great in the garden!

Nice looking bird feeders, unfortunately they are in no way squirrel resistant, I bought two of them and both were completely destroyed within 24 hours by a single grey squirrel in my garden.

Quality item but doesn't deter rooks

The grill wire net holding peanuts seems a little frail. Squirrels have managed to break same and had a feast via the opening they made. Also the hanging wire loop could do with being a little more generous.

The blue and great tits adapted from regular tube feeders to these caged ones in one day (it’s January) and after a couple of days the coal tits and robins have also flitted in (but too quickly to catch on camera). Because the large birds can’t shake the hell out of it I’ve been able to stack mealworms on top of peanuts (hence robins) and mixed seeds on top of Niger seeds in the seed feeder. The very fat (thanks to me 🙄) squirrel has not been successful with these cages but I have a baffle on another pole station so I will add that as another defence, as well as adding chilli powder on the next refills.There is little mess, with no wood pigeons, doves and magpies rattling the feeders, but what does end up on the ground is hoovered up by those pigeons, blackbirds, aforementioned robins, wrens and dunnocks, rather than rats and mice (which there are plenty of as we live in woodland).The only thing I think I will need to update on is when the greater spotted woodpecker return because they really come in like guided missiles and might destroy the whole set up, but we’ll see.If anyone is still having trouble I would first check that your feeding station is 2m away from any trees/fences etc so squirrels can’t jump laterally, and also that the feeders are at least 150cm up from the ground (I also had to move one away from a large boulder they could shorten the vertical leap from). Do NOT use oil/grease as tempting as it is, in case it gets on bird feathers and stops them from flying.

Excellent pour les cacahuètes mais certains mésange ont un peut peur. Seul bémol . Il manque une ouverture en bas pour facilité le prise des graines.J'ai modifier le mangeoire pour ajouter un petit plateau avec un ouverture dans le maillage. C'est mieux. Les mésanges ne s'épuisent pas à picorer les grains.ATTENTION. Même si les pigeons ne peut voler le graines, ils sont attiré par le présence de la mangeoire, qui peut créer des problèmes avec vos voisins.
