Car Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote fits Ford Expedition Explorer Mustang Fusion, Lincoln Town Car, Mercury Grand Marquis, Mazda (CWTWB1U345)

Recently purchased a 2004 Explorer and the seller only had one remote key fob. A little research and it turns out programming a replacement fob is a piece of cake. Numerous places on the 'net with the process, and this seller has it available on their website as well. I was able to get both of the new remotes programmed and ensure my existing remote still functioned within about five minutes. They work. They work from a distance. And, they are a very, very nice price. Also, I did purchase two additional ones that I am leaving in reserve. At thsi price, it is worth having a backup. On a previous vehicle, I waited too long to get a replacement remote, and they were astronomical if you could even find one. Seriously, at this price for two, get four.

Easy to program and works perfectly. The instructions were clear - the fob comes with a paper slip with a QR code. The site gives detailed directions. I did it wrong at first but then realized that the 10 seconds to complete the sequence began as soon as I inserted the key, not when I began the next steps. Once I figured out my mistake, the process was extremely easy and maybe one-tenth or one-twentieth the cost of having a store program it.

One of them died just out of the blue. It wasn't dropped, liquid damage, dead battery, etc. It just worked to open the door than clicked the trunk and nothing worked on it again. Still using the second one and it's been fine. Can't really complain for the price, if it dies anytime soon I will update this review

Neither remote works I checked the batteries voltage then changed both batteries still neither would work or could be programmed so I threw both in the trash and ordered a new remote from ford. With the part numbers printed on the key fob. I have devoted too much of my very valuable time to this issue should have purchased the real deal the first time

I read the instructions on "remotesremotes.com" per instructions. Before purchasing the fob I recommend going to this website and selecting "programming" and entering your vehicle year make and model. This will tell you whether your car will be able to diy program the fob or if you will need a locksmith. For me the instructions were as followed. Get in the car. Unlock all doors using driver door button. Turn the key from start position (just before turning the car to running) to off 8 times in rapid succession ending at start. The doors will lock and unlock on their own. Press any button on the remote directly after this happens. After you've done this, turn your car to the off position and test your fob. It took me two tries and then boom. One was programmed. I'm not sure if I personally made a mistake but I noticed that when I programmed one and repeated the process for the other, the first wouldn't work. After a moment of side-eye.... I took the programmed one inside away from the car and repeated the process with the other one by itself. Both worked after that. Range seems pretty good. I parked on the street about 20 feet from my front door and it locked just fine. I can't speak to battery but according to them they're fresh new batteries that are tested before shipping. Both worked so I'd assume that's true. Happy fobbing.

Simple and easy to follow instructions, worked perfectly the first time. Have seen reports of initial low battery life, but up to now it has worked perfectly.

Only one would work. The other had buttons that stick and would not program. I’m not upset because of the price but the quality is what you pay for. Heads up, the trouble shooting on Amazon doesn’t help and they put you through the wringer to just return one. Beware but it’s worth the gamble I guess.

Delivery took time but fobs are working fine

Excelente producto, se siente de buena calidad, muy fácil de programar. Incluye batería y argolla. Excelente precio. (No tiene mucho alcance pero si estás cerca de tu auto no tienes ningún problema, en mi caso funciona hasta 3 metros de distancia con mi auto)
