I really didn’t expect too much from these, but was I surprised. I expected plastic casing, but these come with quality extruded aluminum casing. And... are they bright! 90+ leds per stick. I expected each to be about equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb. They are like four 100W bulbs each! Ones eyes hurt to look at them (and I wouldn’t advise it). We are using these on 72” high x 24” wide metal food racks for seed starting for our flower gardens. They claimed each “stick” (6 come to a packge) was over 4,000 lumens. I was skeptical and expected I would need 2 per shelf. I was pleasantly surprised at how much brighter just one stick was than the two fluorescent tubes we were using per shelf. I now have twice the lights I needed and can power another shelf. All the cords, switches and connectors come with it, and zip tie here, zip tie there and we were rolling! And they hardly weigh anything compared to the clunky old fluorescents and take way less space. Plus, I expect they take less energy. Why didn’t they have these when I was younger!! They are totally fantastic.

Pretty pathetic under very little use that I have 25% failure on one section of lights. Keep in mind I’m only using 4 of the 6. I was expecting years of service before any type of failure. I wouldn’t recommend buying

This item was a bit smaller than my older lights but I wanted to keep the same company and style lights. My original lights were 46 inches long and these are 23 3/4 but everything is the same. Same hangers, connectors, same wiring. The good thing this set comes with inline connectors that lets you connect two lights together as one 47 1/2 inches long. So now I have extra lights and i don’t have to change my setup. I’ve had these lights for years not sure why this section failed but for all the time I’ve had them I’m very impressed and would recommend these lights. Very very bright.

Bought 12 of the 4 footers to add light to my garage workshop. 2x rows of 6 space about 3 foot apart. Snapped chalk lines to line up the hooks. Easy install. These are great, they put out enough light that it's painful to look at them. It's almost too bright on the workbenches which is just what I wanted. I chose to wire in 4x series of 3, not fully trusting them to handle 4 lights. When hanging them with chains and then tying the power cords off to them, the lights became misaligned. I solved this by making bridges from the surface mount brackets to tie each light to the next, they are much straighter now. Probably, using a wire staple to anchor the cables to the ceiling would have been better than tying the cables to the hanging chains.

These are really super bright lights. I'm using the for garage lights and grow lights. They do get a little warm, so I removed the clear plastic cover. (Heat is what kills LEDs most often.) One thing to note - you get 6 light fixtures, but only two power cords/switches. Pretty sad - this could have been a 5 star review...

If you are looking for lights to grow plants, dont buy lights from "grow light" sellers, as they are often underpowered and cheap+overpriced. These work perfect, especially when using an old fashioned outlet timer. I have 2 shelves on the grow rack, with 1 using a pair on a 16 hour clock, and the other with a 9 hour one.

These were bought to replace 4 LED and Two T8 4-foot shop lights. They are very bright, easy to mount since they are very slim compared to the old ones. The thing I did not see was they did not all come with a plug. For my use I cannot interconnect them so be aware. If I had fully read their ad, it was clearly shown. Ordered 4 pack of plugs and finished the installation. I have noticed that there is a slight perceived shift in brightness while looking at my work on the bench. It's not a flickering that happens every half second that starting to annoy my vision. These lights are hung 6' 6" above my bench as the ceiling height is very low. I hate to start a return since they are all up, but this is an issue for me. I did not see this problem in any of the reviews. I would not recommend these LED's for this reason.
