On the brink of war, the fates of both Artimรฉ and Quill are at stake in book six of the New York Times bestselling Unwanteds series, which Kirkus Reviews called โ The Hunger Games meets Harry Potter.โ Alex and Aaron Stowe are at a crossroads. Everything Aaron has worked so hard to build in Quill has crumbled. Fallen from the height of power and influence and left for dead in a foreign place, Aaron has lost everything, and now he must humbly beg for food from those who saved his life. In Artimรฉ, Alex chooses his people over his brother and abandons his search for Aaron, closing the door on that relationship forever. The Artimeans need his focus now more than ever as they face the terrifying power of a new enemy who has taken control of Quillโthe notoriously evil Gondoleery Rattrapp. Desperate to stop her, Alex embarks on a risky mission to enlist help from an unlikely ally, and along the way heโs determined to rescue a lone sailor from monstrous beasts with mysterious originsโa sailor who just might show Alex a different world. As he prepares for an epic war with all of Quill and Artime hanging in the balance, Alex must place his faith in a reckless plan...and hope that he and all of his friends make it through alive.

Great addition to the series!
This book was absolutely amazing. After reading the other unwanteds bookshop dint think Lisa could get any better but she did! This book was filled with lots of drama, action, and suspense. I never reached a lull in this book. The book also flowed amazingly, none of the softcover seemed forced. I suggest that anyone who has read (and loved) the other books in this series and is debating whether or not to buy this book should stop debating and buy it. This book is another great story with Alex and the crew!

It only gets better!
Each book in this series gets better and better. Whether you wait for the complete series to be written and then read them (if you do, plan on loosing a lot of sleep because you won't want to stop till the final book), or you read each book as it is published, and anxiously await the next, either way you won't be disappointed. The series has all of the things a reader can as for, humor, battles, adventure, magic, and romance. This book (in my opinion) is the best of the series! If you haven't started the series yet, get it! You won't be able to put it down!

a very exciting book with a very exciting battle
I love that Simber has a weakness that was found, but I donโt like that Aaron put him back together so quickly, I would have liked it better if it was a project that Aaron had worked on in secret, and that when they needed Simber most, Aaron would be finished, or something like that. I also LOVE how you did the epilogue, it really gives us a hint of what is happening next! Iโm also confused of how Florence was destroyed so easily from her own weight. Anyway, I love the book! Totally 5 stars! โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ ๐คฉ๐คฉ๐คฉ

Best in the series so far!
Due to life circumstances, it took me a while to get through this book. But it was beyond worth finding what little time I had to read. And the ending.... wow! What an emotional roller coaster! I won't leave any spoilers, but I definitely recommend Island Of The Graves. I have no doubt this will be my absolute favorite in the entire series.

Great!
PositiveI really liked that Aaron turned over a new applecorn-Er.... leaf. I've been rooting for him since the oil machine. I loved how the wrinkle with Sky and Alex smoothed out nicely and Simber really was the best flying cheetah ever. Overall, WoW just WOW. I do have some complaints. 1. I really find it annoying that Mrs. McMann will not leave the story alone and now I have to keep on buying her books and I can't say I've finished until she finishes but then again, I don't really want it to end anyway. Keep it up Mrs. McMann!SingingBookwormP.S. I'm 9, so trust me peeps.Sometimes I think that

Island of Graves (Volume 6)
My son age 11 is really enjoying reading this series. He has enjoyed every book in this series; they've kept his attention, are well written and exciting (I have also started reading them). He has chosen to read these books rather than go on a screen. Think that says it all!

Wow.
It was sad, and it was happy. When I first started reading this amazing piece of literature, in was a bit disappointed, but as the story progressed, and the plot thickened, I fell in love with the story all over again. Wow. What other word can be used to describe this absolute miracle of a book?
