Get some Vibrams...
Lets begin with the good?So the good thing about these are that they are cheap. Now that we have the good out of the way lets move on.So I got these in today just finished my first run with them. The first thing I noticed is there are only 4 toe spots your two outer toes share a toe box, and they are significantly more padded than my Vibrams. They were tough to put on there is not very much flex and I had to loosen all the straps to get them on and strap them back up. They were snug and felt decent enough before walking out of the house. I began on my run and within the first block I felt the snow through the bottoms something I was not expecting. I guess that is something that is going to happen when they have holes in the bottom didn't read that prior to purchasing so that is on me. About half way through my first loop I wanted to stop at home and switch shoes, I decided I was just being a brand snob. On my third loop was when I started to feel it, the constant rubbing on the inner part of the ball of my foot sitting here typing this I am positive that both my feet will have blisters showing up in a few days. My left foot I could also feel the back heel rubbing towards the end of my run. I don't know if it is something to do with the shared toe box or not but my left outer toes felt a bit of pain towards the end of my run as well. With all this being said I may not be being fair as I did not retighten the back straps of the shoes as I could feel them I guess pulling is the best way to describe it into my heels. I believe that would have eliminated the back heel rub but I doubt it with the rubbing on the ball of my foot. I really wanted to like these shoes cause lets face it I would rather spend $35 on a pair of shoes than $125. Unfortunately they just do not seem like they will work out for my intended purpose, I may give them another run all strapped up properly and see if it is any better but I doubt it.

My Regular
This is my fourth pair over the years, these are good water shoes, yes, you get use to the toe thing, I prefer it now, keeps the toes from sliding and scrunching etc.... they last me about 2 seasons, then the big-toe seem on the inside starts to give way and rip open, then the toe will start bulging, and sometimes popping out, so by the 3rd season, maybe I'd get to 2 1/2, I'd have to order another pair... and the price keeps going up, I've shopped for others, but one of the things that keeps me coming back to these is the thickness on the bottoms and how they kind wrap up around the sides some, I walk in a lot of rocks (gravel bars/river) and that is the only other problem I have besides the toe thing, the water drain holes in the bottom are a little to big for me, every once in a while I hit a sharp rock right in the "right" place and it sticks me, although I can say, again, the bottoms are thick enough where the sharp rocks tip pokes me but doesn't come through. Another thing with rocks is the little on can get stuck up in the bottom and lot of the time you can't even feel them because of the thickness of the bottom, but sometime you can and have to pry them out ( carry a pocket knife - easy). They need to modify the material they use between the toes to a more durable kind, and close the bottoms up a little more, otherwise a great shoe.

Great fit
The next best thing to being barefoot. Dry super quick. Double takes abound.

Decent
Had an old pair that needed replaced so bought these. There are holes in the bottom of the shoes and rocks jab your feet. Otherwise like them

Solid fit, needs arch support.
The shoes fit like a glove, very comfortable in that aspect. Without much in the way of arch support, though, long periods of standing or walking will very quickly tire one's legs and back.

Great for Paddle Boarding
This is my 2nd pair. The first pair I used them for over 4 years for Stand Up Paddle to have a better grip on the board. It's great to be able to walk right over the rocks in the ocean. And recently, I wore them on my trip to Hawaii on a muddy hiking trail. They held up very well and they are extremely comfortable to wear. The nice part was that I could easily rinse them off. I usually wear a woman's 8 size shoe and purchased a size 7 mens. The fit is perfect with a comfortable wide width. These shoes are easy to put on and take off, unlike surf booties. I don't recommend wearing them all day because it gets a little bit too hot and sweaty, but perfect for a few hours at a time. My soles feel very protected and my feet stay some what warm in cold water. It's getting harder to find these shoes (since there was a law suit against these types of shoes) and I'm hoping they won't take it off the market when I need to buy a new pair in 4 years. I know to many people, these shoes look ridiculous, but in my opinion, it's been a life saver and the same people are jealous when they are screaming walking over rocks in the water. Oh one other thing, this is a great price, if you can find other brands they are way more expensive and have a thinner bottom.

Too small
Would recommend going up a size if buying these.

Ridged soles.
Once you get all your toes in the correct slots it fits well. These are not the kind of shoe that you can just slide into. The soles are a ridged plastic and rounded at the ball of foot so when you walk on a hard surface, they're clumpy.I haven't tried them on the sand or in the water yet.
