The media could not be loaded.  Hi, meet Harvee, 15 month old Maine Coon on the first day with this new toy.My concerns were it might be too small for him given many reviews mentioning “kittens” I kind of appreciate those reviews because the toy isn’t massive, but it doesn’t need to be! It’s a perfect size for paws to send those balls whizzing around, if it was much bigger you wouldn’t really get that effect and the “fun factor”I can understand people feeling it’s not as big as they hoped when they open it, I sort of felt that at first, but actually it makes it easier to have anywhere in the house, and as just mentioned, it’s more engaging because the balls can get round and hit the other balls, making those move round. If it was half as big again that wouldn’t happen. Some thought has been put into the design of this toy!Harvee is technically still a kitten, but is the size of most fully grown cats at 8kg.Overall, the toy is superb! Really wonderfully and beautifully made, he plays with it properly up to half a dozen times a day, usually for about 15 min each time. I have noticed though that he will spend a lot of time (1hr or so) simply lying next to it and gently knocking the bottom tier balls, I think he finds that quite relaxing.That said he uses all the levels now when the mood takes him, and the sound is quite therapeutic with the solid wooden balls, I kept the bell in, adds to interest for him. An Alan key is provided if you really wanted to remove it, I keep this in the bedroom and I enjoy hearing him play with it.The balls cannot escape, makes for a tidier house without having to pick up (occasionally vac up!) lots of toys.I think this product is worth every penny! Really pleased I got it, Harvee loves it, he has loads of toys and even after a full week, this is still his #1.Ten thousand times better than anything plastic, toy will definitely last a very very long time and I think he will still be enjoying it when he’s 10 - 12kg, the size of the cat is a bit irrelevant, he’s not getting inside of it, just batting balls around with his paws, a bit like a swing ball set really!I even enjoy playing with him, spinning the balls round, so it’s good fun for us both!Absolutely no regrets buying this.Have taken loads of fun vids of him playing with it since, but I thought the first day vid would be more helpful as it shows him getting the hang of it within the first hours of being unboxed.I’m certain your kitten or cat will have endless fun with this for many years.Very highly recommended, best Amazon purchase this year, arrived very quick, well packaged and all assembled, so it’s unbox and play time!5*****

Brought for cat when we put the cat in 'Cat Jail' I mean Cattery. However the cat seemed to ignore it at home, preferring a cloth type mouse. Cattery owner said they didn't see our cat playing with it. But our cat did play with it's cloth mouse. I suspect it is a cat preference. I think our cat likes toys that it can pick up and drag around or chase. Not the cat toys fault. See videos from other reviewrs where their cat loves the this toy.Expensive toy for cat not to play with, however I suspect if we had given this to our cat when it was a kitten, it would have loved it. I would recommend it for kittens, so they love this type of play early on.Balls were sturdy and didn't come out. Smooth edges, no splinters, a really nice wooden toy. Doesn't take up much room. Cat preferred to watch us trying to encourage play. Not too noisey, so if the cat does play with it late at night, then we won't hear it.Lovely quality, but our cat didn't appreciate this.

The media could not be loaded.  My kitten has been using this since the night we brought him home!Not only does it look lovely, it works really well. There are three balls on each tier and it makes for a great independent play session!

This is much nicer and sturdier than the plastic versions and you can take it apart and remove the bell easily if needed. My kitten loves this toy so much that I’ve had to take it away at night so he won’t stay up all night playing with it and keep me awake!

The media could not be loaded.  Our 9 week old kitten moved in today and this has been a big hit with her. We have taken the bell out already as we’re sure we would be woken up in the night given she’s likely to be playing with it a lot. Can’t comment on durability yet as it’s early days but it seems sturdy enough.
