While formulated to possess the working properties of oil-based inks (permanence, tack, etc.), Speedball’s Fabric Block Printing Inks are easily cleaned up with soap and water and have an open time that is like that of other water-soluble block printing inks. Speedball’s Fabric Block Printing Transparent Extender is available to create transparent colour while maintaining viscosity. These inks are designed to print onto smooth fabrics that do not possess a heavy texture or stretch such as cotton, linen, broadcloth, or denim. Nylon and canvas are not recommended. Ideally suited for inking the block can be of lino, wood or any similar surface and soft rubber rollers or brayers.Speedball’s Fabric Block Printing Inks will dry to the touch overnight depending on climate and they do not require any setting with heat. It is recommended to wait for 4-7 days before washing fabrics after printing.

Expensive
Not much ink for the money no matter how good the print is

Epic fail
I used speedball easy cut Lino and this in to make some tea towels. The ink doesn’t come with instructions so I looked it up online. Left the printed tea towels to dry well over the required 1 week to set the ink, then gave them a cold wash and the ink washed partially out so they look really faded.Baffled.

not the same ink
I've used speedball fabric ink successfully for many projects..... this ink has new packaging but I think the ink is a bit different also. It's much stickier, it dries quickly on the plate and the prints are really inconsistent. Called customer support and was told it's the same ink and to just press harder. Did two printing sessions and ended up with only two useable pieces. :(

Wonderful vibrant opacity
I use this fabric ink to block print on fabric with my handcarved rubber stamps. It is beautifully opaque. I do use the speed ball transparent fabric ink extender which makes it less tacky and slower drying.
