The fixings are not great on the long straight section, they are really stiff.The tube diameter and wall thickness on the long straight one is a bit excessive too so it is quite heavy.The one with the curved end is much better, but the fixings are a bit sloppy so it leaks until you pull the trigger

I used it to clean the underside of the car

Rubbish item. I bought this for the angled attachment so I could direct water up and under my car, like in the video on the product page. However, it's a very poor fit and poor build quality. When attached the angled extension wobbles and always swings downwards and points to the ground as the attachment does not secure tightly in the in the wand connection. This means I can not have the angled extension ever pointed up and direct water under the car / wheel arch, (as shown in the product page video) it always swivels and points down to the ground. The video is very misleading and not representative of what was shown.
