Pristine picture quality, cables that come with don’t support hdr
I recently got this monitor because my 4K dell monitor had a few dead pixels. I decided I would go for a huge upgrade, and wanted a good 4K hdr monitor. So I picked this up. The picture quality is flawless, and simply amazing, after some tinkering with the monitor. But I have noticed one or two dead pixels, that constantly display white, but with my 14/20 vision, it’s nearly impossible for me to notice. And the cords that came with the monitor did NOT support hdr, and that took me several days of troubleshooting to figure out. But once I got the right cable for hdr, my system immediately recognized the monitor as hdr. It’s great for gaming if you have an AMD computer setup, or more specifically an amd gpu, because of its free sync. It’s very bright, and its darks are otherworldly, but not completely black, as they are not oled. It is a great monitor, and if you want this for a great movie performance, or for gaming, I think it’s worth the buy!

Wonderful monitor, crisp, bright. Sound quality is OK
I bought this monitor so I'd have a high resolution desktop for working from home, I'm a software engineer. I love the quality and brightness of the screen. Currently it's working at a 30 Hz refresh rate but I don't see any flicker. I need to get direct HDMI cable to get 60Hz from my Macbook. I don't plan to do this anytime soon because of the lack of flicker. I had hoped that the sound quality would be great as the monitor has 5 watt speakers. They're better than previous monitor speakers I've used but I found they sound muddy and certainly don't provide me with an "immersive multimedia experience". Adjustability is great and I also like the buttons on the side and the interface they've provided for changing settings. I'd recommend it highly and will be working on making this a standard screen for software developers where I work.

Good monitor.
Huge monitor for the price. 4k works great, works well on other resolutions as well. This xg3220 seems to be a bit off on color however, and the speakers are just aweful. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have external speakers. And you can fix the color issues with calibration through windows, or using the on monitor menu. The controls for the menu are very frustating since there is no remote, and the buttons are on the back like TV instead of the front like a monitor. Putting the buttons on the back works fine on a tv because you have a remote to use. Putting on the back when you have to use them makes it a very fiddly and rage inducing procedure. That said, I do really like this monitor, but if you want a monitor that is perfect out the box you may need to spend a bit more. If you can deal with setting up the color, and already have, or want to get a surround sound or at least 2.1 setup then this is a great monitor.

Great Monitor
Pros: PIP mode supported. HDMI 2.0 - good when used with HDCP. Two ports. HDCP 2.2 - works with my 4k BluRay player & Xbox 1S. HDR10 - great looking video. Size - 32". Good size, not too big. 4K - looks great, even with old games. Scales and adjusts nicely to old resolutions. Freesync on both HDMI & DisplayPort. VESA Mounting. I installed it Monitor Stand. Sound output to external speakers. Price is great, compared to G-Sync monitors! Cons: 1. ViewSplit software free download at their web site: a. The free ViewSplit software from ViewSonic is not compatible with Windows recommended Scaling. If it is run at 100% scaling at normal resolution (3840x2160), all is good. IF you "Scale" the screen, it does not function properly (125% increase or larger). Windows 10 default/recommended scale is 150%. Change it to 100% if you want to use ViewSplit. b. While Viewsplit is good, it is missing a "key" setting - 3 full vertical windows side by side. 2. Five (5) watt speakers sound tinny. Jan 15, 2019 - Nvidia released driver version 417.71, which makes G-Sync compatible with freesync monitors using Display Port (only).

Excellent monitor for 4K gaming and movies
The picture on this monitor is amazing, colors are very crisp and sharp, especially for games running in 4K UHD. The monitor automatically upscales content to HDR, which is nice so there's no need to enable HDR in Windows. In fact doing so will make the colors look washed out, which is because the monitor is already displaying in HDR (assuming you have an HDR compatible graphics card), even if it isn't enabled in Windows. Can't say how 4K UHD Blu-Ray's look on it though, it seems to be a not very well known fact that you MUST have a 7th gen Intel (or later) CPU in order to play UHD Blu-Ray discs on a PC, something to do with it needing a processor with a special encryption chip for DRM (I always have been and will be an AMD guy). However streaming 4K videos look stunning on this screen.

For this a bargain of £260. It does not come with a uk 3 pin plug, but these are easy to replace. Great size, sharp, punchy colours, excellent stand for adjustment. Hdr works well on consoles via hdmi.

Just received it, looks and works great, did not test all features yet but only dispappointment is Pivot feature is only for installation and packaging not really for ergo or when it is on desk and base is attached. Monitor edge will hit the desk as stand is not high enough. Will update review later as got it for many features such as PiP and BLue light filter, gaming......etc Setup reolution to max, played with my liitle humple Radeaon X470, The witcher 3 , Tomb Raider, couple of graphic demanding games. all ran smooth on hi res and lags, no stiter, monitor seems improved the performnance of the Graphic cards. Played 4k videos, ran smooth only with RealPlayer, no other decoder did it, the rest lagged and delayed. I give it 5 star minus 10% just for the Pivot I mentioned up already. If Pivot was functional for ergo, I would give it full 5 stars. thanks Viewsonic.
