Truly a great book. Perfect to prepare your child for school and to know their name is unique and special! Great for confidence building too.

I was wanting a book like this for my daughter and was so happy to find it available online on Amazon. We have read it almost every night since it arrived as her bedtime story. Highly recommend.

This is a great book for kids who have names that are often mispronounced. However, after reading it I also thought how good it would be if more kids, not just those with names others struggle to pronounce correctly, read this book. It empowers a child to understand and know that correcting others, even adults and teachers, for something as "small" and simple as your name is important and necessary. It also lets you understand how it can be hurtful if you decide to give someone a nickname without their consent or ask to call them something different than their original name. Loved the illustrations, loved the plot, loved the messaging. I learned about this book from an early childhood educator who spoke highly of it.

I bought this book for my class and it was the loveliest introduction at the start of the year. A beautiful story that highlights it’s ok to speak up for yourself! This book was an amazing topic for the children and generated lots of discussion around different nationalities and origins of names
