If you ever had one of these back in the day you know how well the suction cups work and how nice and thick they are and I am so pleased that they have not made this thing cheap and flimsy like other companies have downgraded their quality. This is an excellent mat! I no longer feel like I am about to bust my ass getting in the shower 😁

Rubbermaid is a great product but this isn’t white & shouldn’t be labeled as such. It’s more of a beige, very off white at best

After knee surgery I needed a very stable non-slip surface in the shower. This is old school but totally fits the bill. It's comfortable and steady underfoot and easily stuck to a shower floor surface that wasn't totally smooth, which was a concern with other types of mats. Only issue was that it covered the drain, but that was no biggie, the water drained out as soon as you pull it up. I'd suggest drying it out between uses. This is going to be great in the tub as well when I reach the point I can take a bath again.

I previously purchased (and returned) a highly-rated bath mat here on Amazon. I found the surface still too slippery for comfort/safety. I remember when I was a child, my family had a Rubbermaid bathmat and decided to try that brand. I love it. The suction cups stick very firmly on my tub and the surface of the mat is not at all slippery. Two thumbs up from this senior. I wondered if the fact that this was several inches shorter than the other brand would be an issue, but it isn't at all. And the instructions that come with the mat say that it is machine washable.

For some it is worth it to pay a higher price, and not falling in the shower is priceless! This is a durable bath matt that is easy to stand on, won't move even when wet, and is worth the price!

We had another Rubbermaid bath mat like this, which lasted over 5 years, and was very satisfactory. My wife thinks this one is maybe a little better than the old one where comfort is concerned. Anyway, we are very satisfied with it.

The bathtub mat feels secure under my feet. I wish it were white rather than grayish-white, but I chose a safe feeling over shower decor.
