I'm a lifelong rockhound. But I was looking for a book that I could use to help to teach help my son identify agate imposters. This book was great at not going into a deep dive but help ID other rocks, so we know what we found or put back on the ground. I know a lot of rocks, but also many I don't know.This book was very helpful to me and is a great reference.

I bought this as a gift. Don't know much about Agates, so I can't comment either good or bad, but it looks like it has a lot of good pictures and descriptions about Agates.

This is a nice book. Easy to read and understand. I thought it would be a little bit bigger, but it is still a lovely publication with great information. I am happy I bought it.
