LED Mini Military Flashlight, uses 3 AAA Cells

Bought this for my 11 year old son's birthday and he loves it. It's small and easy to pack. Very bright, exactly what he wanted.

Made from a hard plastic (don’t need anything metal unless you plan on throwing, tossing, slamming it into things) I’ve test dropped it on concrete and wood floor no issues (but won’t be dropping it anymore obviously) Be careful! When opening to put in batteries there are two points of unscrewing (if that doesn’t make sense just look at picture below) the second one has the filters while the closest opens the battery container. The clip is thin metal and tight so right on belt or vest. 5/5 product does what it’s supposed to do nice and bright

I must start by saying that the first of these that I received appears to have had a bad switch. It would turn itself on randomly and burn through batteries very quickly if not noticed. This began within 24 hours of receiving the flashlight, so it was easily exchanged for another. Very good service and turnaround experience in making that exchange. The second light has had no problems to date and I am very happy with its performance for this price range. The light itself is an approximate 60% scale version of the older military flashlights they resemble. I received the Green version that is very similar in color to the older military lights. The flashlight operates using 2 switches that function independently of each other, with one turning it On/Off and the other is the Morse Code Flasher. The Flasher switch is fairly sensitive and could be a concern under light discipline conditions. It also came with 1 each red, yellow, green and clear defuser (if I recall the term correctly) lens covers in the screw on end cover. The attached clip is fairly tight and holds MOLLE webbing very well to date. With batteries installed, it weighs in at 3.9 oz, or 111 grams for those of you that have gone metric.

I really wanted to like this flashlight. I like the design. It's like the flashlights I used to use in the military but about half the size which I very much appreciate. If is was a good flashlight it would be a great purchase. But it's not a good flashlight. After one outing the LED lights started flickering and the battery cap cracked around the threads. Super cheap on every level. Do NOT buy unless you're into wasting money.

Love this flashlight. My dad purchased one and loved it so he bought a second one for me. Love the belt clip and that it’s so lightweight. The LED light is strong enough for anything we may need. There’s a triangular ring at the bottom to easily hook into a clip in your bag or inside your tent. Going camping next month and excited to try it out then!

Product is very compact, easy to carry and easy to used. Unfortunately after a week three LEDs start flickering and stop working, only 2 left are working. Is may be my us defective and no all are wrill be the same. But other than that very good product.

It's a good modern flash light with all feature of the old military one - morse code button, colored filters. Buttons are soft and pleasant to use, the flash light is bright as all modern LED flashlights should be.

Flashlight looks good initially, noticed that it may be missing an o-ring on the light end. Feels cheap as expected with the price. Powered on for 18 min and noticed flickering and significant dimming after 20 min. Body near lamp is warm to touch. Upon opening light head, you can smell melted plastic. Found the reflector insert deforming. Flashlight should not be used for an extended period of time. I purchased this because of the expectation of LEDs to be long lasting and emitting little heat but that's not the case here. M intent was to use this light for signaling during night walks. You pay for what you get. Cheap.
