Good product, BT Transmitter only, Mic through the adapter.
This product is easy to use and performs well. The Xbox series X recognised the adapter straight away. My Bluetooth earbuds connected easily with good sound quality and the built in microphone does the job.Just be aware that it's only a Bluetooth transmitter. Bluetooth headphones with a mic built in will only be for audio output. The voice comes from the microphone built into the adapter. I hastily read the listing and didn't really appreciate this difference until I had the product in my hands. Its entirely my fault and isn't a massive issue as it performs well, but it was a disappointing realisation so hopefully this helps others avoid the same fate.

Very quiet and mic performance pretty bad too.
Very quiet and mic performance pretty bad too.Sadly I got this as a gift for someones birthday so the return date has passed, but this is a terrible product. The idea is amazing, but the volume is not adjustable and when it is very quiet compared to normal headset or even playing on another device via cloud using same headphones.. very poor connection too, mic can't even be heard less than 10m away and whilst listening connection is stable, as mentioned before its very quiet even on max in game and xbox settings so quiet you miss any sounds that aren't loud bangs and need subtitles for cinematics cause you can't hear what they are saying and that's if you're playing with no noise in the background.

Works Perfectly
Fantastic bit of kit. My son plays Xbox(X/S) off a monitor with no speakers and we needed a way to get the sound from the xbox working. This bit of kit plugs into the xbox controller (no batteries required, it just uses the power from the controller) and pairs with our JBL bluetooth speaker wirelessly which enables the sound from the xbox to play through the speaker. It also has a built in microphone which works well too. Easy to use, just plug, pair and play.

This and some Shokz headphones = Perfection
Ignored the bad reviews because this is Amazon and you can return anything your not happy with so it's always worth trying something if you not sure.I love this little device, it solves the problem I have with gaming headsets where my ears get to hot and uncomfortable which is why I bought some Shokz Bone Conductive headphone to use at work and for listening to music because they leave your ears uncovered, stay cool and you can still hear people talking too, but also allow you to hear music and make calls with everyone else hearing. This adapter now means I can do the same with gaming and I'm over the moon about it. I own about 3 decent gaming headsets and I'll probably never use any of them again now I can use my Shokz. The build quality people complain about in these reviews is daft, it feels as plastic as any other accessory so that seems a daft thing to complain about.Compatability isn't something I can really talk about, all I've used is the headset I've already spoken about.Value seems a little high I have to say as essentially it's just a Bluetooth dongle but for me it's worth it just to use the headset I love.Very easy to use, just plug in, pair with headset and play. All sound settings are in the menu on the Xbox mini guide menu at the bottom (see image)It worked on my newer Series X/S controllers as well as the older Xbox One controllers with the added advantage it remains synced to the adapter so you can just pull it off the controller and swap to another one, plug it back in and it's still connected to the headset. The only thing I haven't had chance to test fully yet is any lag issues but I've been playing Star Wars Outlaws at the moment and that game has a kind of rhythm based unlock hacking system and I've had no issues doing that at all.(EDIT... after use I've found there is some lag, less than half a second roughly. To me though the pros of not wearing over ear head phones out weighs the cons. If lag is a big thing for you though it might be a issue but I also feel it's worst on some of my headsets than other so it may vary between headsets. I felt I needed it add this to the review though)All in all I'd highly recommend this adapter. My only wish is they did it in different colours to match one of my favourite controllers but black is a good fit for most of them.Edit 2: marked it down a start because the Mic used is the one built into it and doesn't seem to give the option to use the Mic on my headset so the sound the people your talking to isn't great for them.

PERFECT for Razer Kraken Headphones
I bought this as the V2 headphones do not have a compatible wire for the xbox. It works perfect! You connect the headphones to the product via WiFi and it plays the xbox sound through your wireless headset. Product packaging is a bit lack luster considering the price though, cheap cardboard and flimsy plastic.

Too good to be true
Wouldn’t connect to my AirPods, then after 20 mins of troubleshooting, got it to connect briefly- the sound was awful, intermittent, fuzzy, and yes, delayed. Not worth the £33.00 price tag in the slightest. Returned and refunded without issue.
