I've smooth fine-ish long hair so maybe people with thick curly hair are the ones in reviews having trouble?

These are lovely items but only 1 is in use as the other 2 just couldn't hold my hair!!!! So I could not recommend these for thick hair.

I have thick curly hair. I usually have problems with plastic hair clips holding my hair in place. I already have a gold metal clip the same as these silver ones. It holds my hair in place all day without sliding down. I've worn one of the new clips today, and it's held my hair in place all day. I think these clips suit thicker hair better than fine hair. I don't think they would stay in place for long.
