The Boss Baby 2: Family Business [DVD] [2021]

If you enjoyed the first “Boss Baby” then you should enjoy this sequel which finds brothers Ted and Tim Templeton as estranged adults harboring animosity toward each other. Just as the brothers learned to love and appreciate each other when they were young, with Tim dealing with Ted as an intruder, the brothers must re-engage with each other and get over their distance from previous hurts and harms as adults once again turned into babies/ youngsters. They must bring down an evil genius (is there any other sort?) that is much younger than he looks and is out to zombify all of parentdom. If that sounds complicated, don’t worry, it’s not. “Family Business” clips along with the same vibrancy and humor as its predecessor, adding Tim’s daughter Tina as an undercover BabyCorp agent. Watching these kids act silly and petty while understanding they’re really adults in kid’s bods is fun with nice comedic voice acting and timing. Boss Baby as a franchise might not have a lot of room to grow but they sure know how to fill a diaper for a laugh!

Movie would not play. Kids were looking forward to watching it. Disappointing.
