Organic and it helps muscles
Unflavored whey protein is an aquired taste. So much, I have yet to acquire it. I put this in a smoothie or mix it with another powder that has a flavor that overpowers whey. I like that this is organic. I use a spoon and the powder is easy to get out of the bag. The bag easily reseals. My body's a little different internally, but that's what happens with chronic ailments that I was born with. I don't seem to use nutrition well from food. It's better if I use a blender. For decades, I would exercise, even just light stuff, and end up feeling discomfort or pain later. Muscles would never build up to anything beyond everyday moving around without a lot of unpleasant sensations. Whey protein without any other lifestyle changes allowed my body to do what normal bodies do with protein. Muscles got better, actually able to progress with exercises, do longer workouts or more intense workouts. Body built up. My body has a lot of intolerances. Eat the wrong thing, feel unwell. This product, without fillers, additives, flavors, and extra stuff - along with being organic, has been very beneficial to me. I can do my workouts and not feel pain or like I'm degenerating (going backwards) like I did for decades. Even areas I was told to exercise slowly due to scar tissues from the early years are able to recover after workouts. I was told by a surgeon 5 lb limit the rest of my life. With whey protein and collagen together (and lots of trial and error on what my body can and cannot do physically with exercise), 5 lb is now the light weight for dumbbell workouts. The heavy is only 7.5. Sure beats 5 lb as a max. I can lift 40 lb bags of bulk products, work the chainsaw for light trimming, rake up 10+ bags of leaves in a day, and still do the dishes. Someday, I'll get past knee push-ups. Some. Day. For now, this is miles ahead of where doctors thought I'd be. Had used a different brand when I couldn't find an organic option. Worked for a while, then they changed something. Tasted different. Smelled different. And my body didn't tolerate it well. Saw organic option, gave it a try, and now back to exercising and doing stuff. I'm so thankful an organic option exists. This one's worked well and I've had several different bags over time now. Even so, unflavored whey is a tough taste. Texture is kind of tough too if you don't like clumpy soft things. Takes a while to mix up. That was kind of boring, so I just run it through a blender with some veggies and fruit. And voila. Faster, easier, and the blender can mix it up. It's not supposed to be a meal replacement. If I'm going to go out and do yard work, tree trimming, and whatever else, then I try to remember to take this beforehand. I like it.

Minimally processed, no additives or flavors, tastes good.
Organic, grass fed, only one ingredient, and processed without acid or bleach. I look for minimally processed supplements without added flavors or sweeteners or additives of any kind and this fits the bill. I mix this in my morning smoothie (blended with a Vitamix) and the taste is neutral with no "gritty" taste or feel. I found that it did not dissolve well when "stirred" into hot or cold liquids, but it does fine with a blender. I have not tried using a hand held immersion blender stick, but I imagine that would work fine. I have hand-stirred it into plain yogurt and it is smooth and not gritty, and again, the taste is mostly neutral. If you add fruit or flavorings you won't taste it at all, but if you have it plain it will have slightly "milk-like" flavor, but it is not at all unpleasant. I buy it in the five pound bags for the best value. The amino acid profile is not provided on the bag, but is available on their website. I will definitely reorder as this meets all my requirements.

High quality powder, packaging needs some more work
The quality and taste of the protein powder are top-notch. The 5lb package offers an excellent quantity and serving size. But unfortunately, one of the recent packets arrived with a broken seal and spilled contents, requiring a return. The packet concept is excellent, but the packaging needs improvement.

Love it!
I have bought this several times because it is so clean.. Very good in my morning smoothy with wild blueberries, collagen, soy milk and spices like cinnamon, ginger, etc.

Superior quality/usability tips
I’ve been buying this protein now for about 6yrs and believe this is the best protein on the market today. Is it a little finicky to mix, yes. Does it foam up, sure—but once you figure it out it’s fine and a worthwhile sacrifice for the superior quality of the product. In reality it’s foaming like this because it ISN’T stripped of everything with chemicals like most protein powders, and of course its concentrate and not isolate. Which I prefer anyways for the added benefits. Tips I’ve figured out to improve usability: - When blending or making a smoothing, blend up the entire smoothie without the protein first, get it where you want it, THEN add in the protein and blend for just a few seconds to incorporate. This will prevent any foaminess from happening. - When shaking it up in a blender bottle or glass jar with juice or water. Just shake vigorously until it’s fully incorporated and then let it sit for 5min or so. All the foam will reduce to a nice creamy top that’s actually delicious. - One of my favorite ways to drink this is simply water and a teaspoon of honey. My fiancé adds some vanilla as well and does milk instead of water—also good. - One of my other favorite ways is adding it to cold sweetened(honey) black ice tea and drinking with breakfast. When you shake it up and let the foam settle the tea has this rich creamy top, it’s delicious. Lastly here is a Ranch recipe I created using the protein powder that is ridiculously good! Ingredients: * 1/4 cup Raw whey protein powder * 1 tablespoon dried parsley * 1/2 tablespoon onion powder * 1 tablespoon dried onion chunks * 1 teaspoon garlic powder * 1 teaspoon dried chives * 1/8 teaspoon dried dill * 1 teaspoon sea salt * 1 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper Mix 4tbs ranch mix with 1 cup sour cream

Horrible Tasting Protein Powder
All of the reviews on the company's website said how great this whey protein tasted so I purchased a bag on that information. If fact I almost bought the 5 pound bag which was a much better deal, but I thought that I should probably pay the higher price per ounce and get the 12 ounce bag, which I'm glad I did. Tasted horrible. Very chalky, which is maybe why the taste seemed to linger in my mouth all day. Really bad flavor that sticks with you. I've had some pretty nasty protein powder, but this was the worst -with maybe the exception of Hoffman's Weight Gain back in the 80's To be fair, I mix my protein powder with just water because I don't want to get filled up. It's hard enough to consume the proper amount of protein to build muscle without adding a bunch of extra stuff in your drink to make it taste better. Anyway, this stuff mixes so poorly with water that after finishing the glass you have pour extra water in the glass several times and mix the leftovers to get the full dose, which prolongs the agony. But I wanted to give the best chance possible, so I mixed it in the blender one time with water and a frozen berries. The result was that I now had to drink twice as much of this awful stuff. The bottom line is that NO protein powder tastes good, no matter the hype. But some taste better that others. Go ahead and try it if you like, but don't get the large size.
