Nordicare Hob Cleaner Glass Ceramic - Induction Stove Top Cleaner Polish and Protector for Everyday Use - Made in Denmark (500ml)

In short this cleans better than any other product we have tried for the surface of a ceramic hob cleaner. It leaves a nice shine and some protective coating so regular use may protect the surface from wear and it will make it easier to clean. It does not have strong or lingering scent. The rest of this review is for those of with pets, with chemical sensitivities...although many don't know that is where their migraines come from, or thier child's asthma, those who care about chemical exposure, and finally those who just don't like the cloying and constant miasma of perfumes. I qualify on all counts, to the point thatbi live a very isolated life for fear of a life threatening asthma attack from someone's heavy use perfumes. I was hesitant to buy this, as it does list perfume on the ingredients. I am sensitive to many perfumes, in some cases to the point of several asthma attacks requiring paramedics. The hob brite we used to use is now so bad I cant be int he room for some time after it is used. Perfumes are completely unregulated and many have hormone disrupting agents, carcinogens and other harmful chemicals. And for those of with allergies, as they aren't listed so we have no idea which ones will trigger an attack. Those who have pets cant know which ones will trigger allergies, or in the case of birds, death either. Many pet allergies dissappear with reduced chemical usage and caged bird lifespans have nose dived over the last couple few decades, with many living less than half what those in chemical free households live. In addition, I have found more and more companies are substituting smells clean for clean. The products become more and more watered down ,to the point that in many cases you may as well just clean with water. They substitute heavy smells for cleaning agents and I guess that makes people think it is clean. Unfortunately I don't think hob brite works quite as well as it did years ago. This must have a faint perfume, as the smell isn't bad at all. I could be in the same room as it was used and there was no lingering smell which affects the cooking. It did not make me ill in any way. Still I wish they woukd make a perfume free product, or go against industry standard practice and clearly list whatever products are used, making sure only to use safe scents. I am giving this product 5 stars because it is better than most. Almost no cleaning products are really safe for those with birds, who I feel act as th canaries in the coal mines of our homes. We have no idea how these products are affecting our dogs, who have much more sensitive senses of smell and must be constantly bombarded with stench. We do many have improvements in behaviour as well as massive improvement in allergies and other health issues whe. Humans reduce the perfumes in the environment. Household air is now more toxic than roadside air thanks to the array of poisons we use to disguise ba odours instead of removing them. So it's a sad statement that a product gets high praise simply for poisoning us less than most other products.

I bought a cheap alternative and it left streaks and made a mess of my induction hob so I splashed out n bought this. Wow! My hob is back to its pristine glory - it is always used with a protection mat to keep it from damage, but as you’ll see from my pics, if a pan bubbles over I get tiny hatch marks on my hob. This product turns from liquid to a fine dusty powder when polishing it into your hob. I will admit I panicked at first use, but it actually leaves a shiny and protective seal. See my before n after pics with the product in place. 1) The burnt on boiling over 2) Taking the thick of that off with water n drying it 3) After I’ve used this product. Hope you can see the hob is clean and reflective of the spotlights Highly recommend n will be buying again.

After years of struggling with cleaning the metal gas hob, we decided to get a glass one, thinking it’ll be easier to clean. It has been a nightmare as no matter how hard we tried, the smears won’t budge until we came across this cleaner. OMG, where has this been for the past 7 months? It’s been a dream to clean the glass hob now. Doesn’t take long or require elbow grease. No smears or finger marks. I’ve started cooking more now. It’s really a miracle cleaner.

It’s very good at removing stains from top off oven I’ll buy it again.

My Belling ceramic hob is nearly 7 years old and two rings were showing that weird white ghostly-looking wispy stuff, you can't feel it with your fingers so it is a bit perplexing - what the heck is it... I did a google search for 'how to get rid of....' and a few products popped up, so I read a whole lotta reviews, and looked at the photos folk put up, and picked Nordicare. Didn't really believe it would fix my hob, but I gave it a go. A lotta elbow actually - 10 minutes of circular rubbing, cold hob/dry cloth.... And, WOOHOO... nearly all of the naff looking wispy stuff has gone. ER-MAZ-ZING. That has saved me £200, I was so close to buying a new hob (think hubby would've had something to say about that though lol). I can heartily recommend this, just annoyed with myself that i didn't take photos of before and after... because I didn't expect it to work! Silly me. Don't hesitate... buy it... but you'll need to keep rubbing... it is not just 'wipe and go'.

Excellent. I thought it was going to leave a residue, it did not. It restored my glass top to a beautiful clean shine. Store top is > 10 yrs old. I highly recommend.

on voulant nettoyer ma plaque je l’ai abîmé avec ce produit. La plaque est presque neuve achète y’a moins de 6 mois après l’utilisation de ce produit j’ai remarqué pleines de rayures sur ma plaque. Je suis en communication avec l’entreprise pour avoir un dédommagement 😔
