NEST Custom size and shape wall plate

Works as advertised. Covers unsightly holes left by poorly executed installation of previous thermostat. Looks good. Woukd be even better if they would drill holes in the plate instead of having double sided tape.

This is the only company I could find that was able to solve my problem after installing 3 Nest Thermostats. The footprint my old rectangular thermostats left required either a serious cosmetic touch-up or a cover trim plate. (The plates from Nest for some reason aren't large enough!). Since it would have been too difficult to touch up the faux effects, the wallpaper, etc., Tejas came to the rescue with very affordable custom trim plates. The brushed aluminum effect I chose is beautiful and the fact that I was able to install their plates without undoing the wiring is fantastic. I just slipped it over the wired base and attached it to the wall with the sticky tape that was already on the back. Super easy! This is perfect. I didn’t even know there WAS a solution to this ugly circle besides attempting to match the paint. I stumbled upon backplates on Amazon but none of them would have worked because the old thermostat was off center somehow, making the area to be covered bigger than usual. I simply let the seller know the size I needed to cover the space, included a picture for good measure, and had this within about a week. It easily stuck right to the wall. Highly recommended.

This is an outstanding product if you are looking for a custom wall plate or even to replace a standard one. If you have a custom project, you can just give the measurements and color you want to the seller and they will cut it for you. Depending on your project, I recommend ordering a 1/8" thick wall plate as the standard 1/16" might be a bit too flexible. Also, customer support is really exceptional, they are very responsive, friendly and understanding. I already ordered multiple custom wall plates with them and am very satisfied. I'm replacing my old intercom system at home by Echo Dots and Echo Show (Amazon Alexa) and this seller was the one supplying the wall plates to embed all my Echo Dots and Echo Shows into my walls. They solved all the needs I had for my project!!!

Great quality large wall plate. I needed to cover a much bigger unpainted area behind my old thermostat. This solved the problem and looks very good.
