Great home gym
We purchased this for Christmas. We love it and enjoy the ease of boring out at home. I purchased this particular model because you can add additional weight.

Poor documentation
There are two minor complaints about this product. 1) It comes with several accessories and attachments with no documentation on assembly. It is not difficult to figure out where they attach but there should be documentation. 2) The cable guide is barely adequate and I can forsee heavy wear and possible replacement. It really needs some cable guides and not just the three pulleys. Despite these minor issues it is still worth the money.

Go for the Total Gym Fit. Higher quality parts & construction than the other models. Get a demo Fit model that looks new on Total Gym eBay store for 1/3 cost, $520 plus $30 shipping. Switched to this machine from free weights to fix my ailing back now that I am over 60yrs of age. This machine along with a Teeter Inversion Table, also steeply discounted on Teeter eBay store, will save the aging body from decrepitude. I was able to greatly improve some chronic physical problems using these two devices. Who knew that two As seen on TV products would be the answer to slowing physical decline later in life? Love both these devices. They are used in conjunction with Kettlebells and elastic bands for full body repair routines. Screw you Father Time.

All in one gym especially for disabled people
This very easy on the joints but it will whip you if that's what you want. I have several health problems but when I am up to it I can feel the burn with no extra aches in my joints. I have worked hard all my life, when I was able, so I have muscle issues too and as long as I don't get too ambitious I can feel like I am getting a real workout. I'm also happy with the large variety of settings and accessory options that you can get for it too. If you are going to buy one I really feel like this is the best choice even though the highest ranked model has a few advantages but they aren't something that you can't achieve with the Fit model. If you want a do it all home gym you can't go wrong with this one! It does help if you have the room to set it up somewhere and are able to leave it ready to go.
