I'm currently trying to ween myself off of the Omeprazole I was prescribed. I'm trying to avoid the food triggers but I still have some discomfort. These help more than I could have hoped and much easier to take than ACV. I highly recommend these as they do what everyone thinks they are getting from acid controllers and Tums. These lower the pH in your stomache which keeps the lower Esophageal Sphincter from opening allowing Gurd.

If you are taking this while still eating antacids or on a PPI...it won't work. Search Berg Betaine on youtube. And if you have an ulcer...you want to fix that first. Cabbage juice fixes ulcers. If you don't get serious about your diet you'll never fix anything...and you won't heal. One thing never fixes everything...we are each an individual puzzle. Take charge of your health...

I bought it for my Mom. She really likes it. She has a sensitive gut from some surgery and can't just take anything. These pills not only don't bother her gut, it helps her digest food better.

Works pretty well. Just be sure to take it a couple minutes before you eat so it has time to make some stomach acid before the food hits. I had hoped it would help with bloating, but it hasn't.

I naturally produce very weak stomach acid. This has caused problems through the years, including food impaction that led to emergency surgery. This product has brought a great calmness to my crohns Ridden digestive system, and after a couple days, I feel a huge difference as food is better digested, therefore I'm getting more caloric and nutritional value from my food.

Why: We need HCL/Pepsin for proper digestion of protein as our stomach acid goes down linearly as we get older. So super important to supplement as a senior. How: The HCL/Pepsin is needed only in the stomach. So any pills we take absolutely need to be released in the stomach, NOT after the stomach. What: These are a hard pill, not a powder. I have been taking Swanson, Nutricost and Doctors Best for years now with no issues. When taking this hard pill however, it DOES NOT fully dissolve in the stomach but passes out of the stomach & wreaks havoc downstream. Have been getting an upset stomach for a few weeks now, a weird knee issue & migraines more frequently and finally determined this to be the cause when doing a colonic yesterday and noticed some acidic fluid coming out (burning sensation) which is not normally the case. So going to just grind these up and use to clean out the calcium in the distiller and going back to Nutricost HCL which is in a gelatinous capsule & therefore DOES dissolve fully in the stomach only. After the colonic, the knee issue went away so I believe it is related to this situation but cannot prove it.

Fantastic product, works perfectly. After using only 1/4 of the bottle my reflux is gone because the acid in my stomach has been restored.

A great digestive standby when my stomach needs more hydrochloric acid, to tackle hard to digest food. It really works.
