Gringo friendly
Good flavor and not spicy. I am very sensitive to spice, and I have a hard time finding a good bland salsa that is a good consistency. 😆 But I literally can eat it all day.

This was the only place I could find this salsa!
Years ago my wife and I used to use La Victoria salsa. Having moved and also having made our own salsa we lost touch with this particular Salsa. I recently remembered the name and looked it up on the web and there it was. It seams the closest to what we liked in a Salsa and somewhat like fresh Pico De Gallo.

Always a great product
I think they've reduced the sugar in this brand, but this might be just me and my tastebuds. It's been a long time since I've purchased anything but watery hot sauce but I got in the mood for the real thing and bought the big bottle of chunky. I think this is closer in flavor to the other big brand now.Still, it's the right mild vs. medium vs. hot on the shelf. I used to buy this specifically for it's sweetness and a tiny bit of hot in the mildest form. The jumps between little to flaming in this brand are much quicker on the shelf; that doesn't seemed to have changed. If you want sweet, you can always add sugar or honey. If you want hotter, you can always add peppers on days when you can take the burn. This mild version gives you the choice. It's particularly rich made with honey and chili pepper added for homemade chili con carne. Very yum.

This is evidently a new version of what was a good product!
As soon as you look at the bottle you can tell that the ingredients inside are not the same as what I purchased before! You don’t see any chunky pieces of tomatoes, green peppers, onions and other ingredients that make up what I consider Salsa should be. All you see is what looks like catsup with small pieces of something that don’t fit the logo of Thick and Chunky. Wait until you open the bottle and taste what is inside! It looks a thick catsup but tastes like I don’t know what! To me It taste like tomato paste with flour and where is the the flavor of hot peppers? If the cooks and tasters think that this is an improvement on what was a great tasting Salsa, they are way off base! This is my opinion so yours might be different but for me I won’t be buying it anymore.
