JVLRug safe carpet gripper for carpet floors 120 x 180cm, White

I only normally write reviews when I’m chuffed to bits with a product and want to promote its benefits.Unfortunately this review is the polar opposite, please please please don’t waste your money. This product is probably my worst buy EVER!It’s easy to use but it’s completely wrinkled my rugs leaving wave like patterns in them where it’s been stuck to the floor, the adhesive is so strong to the carpet underneath that it doesn’t move, the rug on top constantly does though and I’m forever repositioning it.After the rug had ruched to the point of causing a tripping hazard to my visiting elderly parent, I threw it away, now I’m left with a carpet that has sticky residue all over it, that I’m finding hard to get rid of, I can in all honesty say that this product is probably the biggest waste of money on the market!!!

For 5 years we've lived with a large mat/rug near our front door which wanders around as though it's got a life of it's own.For 5 years this has driven me mad, I must straighten it at least once a day, until I finally snapped and...bought two of these.These are super thin adhesive pads, stick one side to the carpet and then put the rug or mat on top. Our mat is quite large so I bought two, but I actually think one would suffice. since we put it down the mat hasn't moved an inch, it's amazing something so cheap and simple could work so well.It's not stuck down so well I'd be worried about it being stuck forever, although I don't want to move it. We have two pads on either half of the mat, neither of which runs to the edge so you can still lift the mat to vacuum, although we are careful not to pull it too much. As good as this is I'm sure if it was stuck and unstuck too many times it would eventually lose it's stickiness.Overall, if you have a similar problem I'd recommend it, I wish I had them years ago.

What a waste! I was very confused about how to attach this when I got it, since only one side appeared sticky and was already stuck fast to itself. It was a while before I figured out the other side was a peel away film, this was hard to figure out because it was so hard to get off the film cover! Neither side was sticky enough to stay attached to my carpet whilst I was trying to peel away the film, and I couldn't do it all in one go because it would get stuck to me, itself and every invisible hair in existence! I only got it halfway onto my carpet before I gave up entirely, and it left a horribly sticky mess on my carpet and fingers — even though it didn't stay stuck in place! I don't think it would have secured my carpet well even if I had managed to get this on. Definitely do not get this if you value your carpet or time.

I was sceptical that this product would work going by the mixed reviews but it’s absolutely great. It is easy to cut to size. I used it under 2 sheepskin rugs on carpet as they were rucking up. I don’t feel it will harm the carpet and the fact that it’s only a thin sheet you wouldn’t know it was there. We’re so delighted with the product and there is plenty of it. I even vacuumed over the rugs yesterday and they didn’t move at all. In my experience I would highly recommend this product

I don't post reviews but I'm so chuffed with this random product I thought I would share.I have a little mat to stop my chair wearing a hole in the cheap carpet. I spend all day in that blinking chair.The mat just curled, rolled and moved with my chair, jamming the wheels and driving me mad. I've tried everything, carpet tape, velcro tape, rubber corners, tacks, and nothing has worked.I honestly didn't think this would work, it didn't look like it would when it arrived yesterday. But, I've been twisting, shunting and shuffling on my chair all day and the mat has unbelievably, not moved! The curly edges are no more and the mat is flat. And loads left for when I buy more mats!
