I agree with some of the other reviews, it take time to get used too. With that said it's makes a huge difference then when I've shaped my beard in the past. Well worth the investment.

If you have an angled jaw line, this is for you! If your jaw line resembles that of most people, you’ll have issues.

What a nice tool for your face. I never bought one of these before but for the price it works wonderful. Sure helps to have a guide to make the right lines for shaving. I needed mine for the Anchor Beard and it lines up under my jaw just perfect. It helps just as much making the pencil line above the jaw so I can use the guide to draw to the middle of my chin. I will have the sharpest looking beard once it grows out more. Right now it's just about 1/16 inch long but looking good already. Once I have it grown out, I will keep it short with a clipper attachment and listen to the envious ladies talk about me to their guys. I'm really pleased with my purchase.

I have always struggled to get even lines and a solid neck line. Im TERRIBLE at judging even-ness or symmetry in my beard and always end up cutting too much. Immediately up receiving I tested it and was able to get a PERFECT neck line, far better than I've ever had without a barber. I am going mine up and out more on the cheecks as mine sits pretty much on my jawline atm (i prefer a tighter, straight look and unfortunately can't connect my mustache and beard. Damn you genes!) so I haven't trimmed elsewhere, but with the lines on the tools straight side, I'm sure I will get a much better trim there too!

It seems like a great idea until you hold it up to your face and realize your face is curved but this is flat. You can push it into your face but then you end up getting a different hair line than you intended. Would work great if you’re just trying to line up a landing strip.

Easy to use! Bought this as a gift for my husband and he has a thick coarse beard that grows in quickly between going to the barber. I helped him use this tool for the first time and it was super easy to follow. I didn’t use the pencil to outline, just held it firmly against his face and he also kept his face pushed firmly against it from the other side. We used an electric shaver instead of a razor blade. Worked perfectly. Very clean lines! Highly recommend.
