Simple tools
These tools are OK. For most copper foiling you can just use unsharpened wooden pencils (wide or standard), or the end of a marker. These are a bit nicer than wood though, and they have angled areas to make it a bit easier to get into various places. The curved lathekin would be very useful for came work. They are just simple molded plastic pieces. They have decent ergonomics, and are easy to work with. The only thing is the price is a bit high for what they actually are. These should really be an add-on item in the 3-4$ range, not 8-10. Then again, it's not an item that tons of people buy, so such is life.

very handy tools.
The straight flat, looks like a tire iron, is about the handiest tool in my assortment. I use it mostly for smoothing and rolling over the foil on the edges of the glass. It will also do a good job of opening access to lead or zinc pieces.

Sort of works
Most of this did is too wide to used. The very tip is the area that works. The straight one is also just ok. The idea is great, design is wrong.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it will serve it's purpose. I wasn't expecting it to be flat or thick on the top as the pictures don't show that. My old fid is tapered at the top for easy access to crevices and dips in glass. I can use this so I've kept it. If there's other glass makers out there just be aware that it is not tapered.
