Works as Intended for my 20V Dewalt 3/8" Impact
If you're reading this, you've probably come to the same, sad conclusion as me: Dewalt hog (retaining) rings are different than every other impact tool out there. Dewalt's rings have a flat inner surface. Sucks, but it is what it is. I'm still a die-hard Dewalt fan, and this is a part that's not needed all that often for a home enthusiast as myself. That being said, there are only a handful of folk that sell Dewalt-specific rings; OEM or aftermarket. I went with OEM and happy with the results. As a tip, you don't need o-rings with this.

Fits better than other rings
Best hog ring for 3/8 gun there is. Other rings break and fail because of quality. This is OEM dewalt. The ring is tough metal so install is stiff so I lined it up on end of gun and pushed it on against a hard surface. Great part!

Serves its purpose.
This hog ring fits a Dewalt 3/8" anvil. My last one felt worn out so I went ahead and replaced it before it flat out failed. Very satisfied with my purchase.

May not work
Despite the correct part number, this will not fit the retaining groove for a Dewalt impact driver. YMMV
