It quit working after a month
I ordered this on August 26th 2022 & used it in my car only for my 16 month old grandbaby to watch his favorite dvd. It worked well & showed a great picture with great sound. 3 days ago I turned it off before we went in the store to shop. Then when I went to turn it back on after we came out of the store it wouldn't play the dvd. It kept saying no Disc. It will turn on but not read or play any dvd. I tried several different dvds & used a dvd cleaner but still not read or play the dvd. Very disappointing & it cost $69.00 & I can't use now.

Worth it
When I first opened the product, the screen was broken and wouldn’t turn on—even though it had been stored safely in the box. I was really disappointed at first, but customer service reached out right away and completely turned the experience around. They were helpful, responsive, and offered me a full refund or replacement without any hassle. I truly appreciate a company that stands by their product and values their customers. Thanks for making it right!

Great for DVD/CDs, Can't figure out the SD
This is a great player for DVDs and CDs. However, I have not been able to play any media from a 32 GB SD card as the product mentions. I have tried converting the videos several times to the formats that are accepted by the DVD player (including AVI format) but keep getting a message "Codec not found." Either that or only the audio plays, not the video.

Good!
We got this for our move 11 hours away. Our iPad is old and can’t download anything new, so we decided to grab this for our trip. Worked great! We kept it on the charger since it was such a long drive, so I’m not sure about the battery life. Sound is not all that loud in the car, but an AUX cable does the trick for this. I liked that the screen can turn all the way around and I could set it on the center console or even put it inside the case and hand it on a bungee in the center so both kids can see it. Price point was good! Remote is iffy. There seemed to be a lag from when you press the button to when the action happened. That’s not a make or break for me since it’s so small, it’s not a permanent viewing option. We needed up having to use it on the TV because our DVD player cord was packed separate from the TV and DVD player, so we just hooked this baby up so the kids could stay occupied while we unpacked. I will say I’m not sure I would use it as a permanent DVD player. The sound came from the tv and the DVD player so it sounded like an echo. Since this was only a temp solution, it didn’t bother me, and there’s probably a solution, but we didn’t have time nor cared to figure it out in the moment. Liking this DVD player so far for travel purposes!

Movies in the Car!!!
This awesome portable DVD player!!! It is EXACTLY what my family needed after our previous player died! We go on a lot of family road-trip vacations & my 4 kids Love to bring their favorite movie DVDs with us to watch in the car, in the hotel room, just about anywhere!!! This portable DVD player is much better than the one we had previously. It has a very nice quality picture…it’s extremely easy to use & totally perfect for in the car on a long trip, hotels, camping…etc! The Battery-life is excellent and it's very lightweight to carry. Perfect for children to pack/carry! I will definitely be purchasing another one of this brand when we need a new one or giving this as a gift! Great Product!!! MOVIES!!!🤍🤍

Wonnie W-103. Can't change aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3
I like to watch old tv shows and some old movies that have 4:3 aspect ratio. This unit will only play in 'wide'. I hate stretched wide images. Must send it back. Did 'setup/tv display/choose ratio' only plays wide no matter how many times I try to change it. Unit defective because of this. Later added this: So I also sent this exact same question to another brand of portable player and got the same pat response from the same "individual" with the english name Mike Baker. "Sorry I’m not sure. I haven’t had to change the option. However, you probably can. Sorry I can’t be more helpful." It looks like Mike Baker gets around! China that is. So obviously these portable players from China use the same microchips from the same factory. So folks I'm here to tell you that they are lying. The sellers of all these portable dvd players all know that you can't change the aspect ratio but they want to sell you one no matter what. They dont care that you will see the option in 'setup' and that you will try and waste your time trying to change the aspect ratio all while knowing that it is just a sham, and they hope you wont send it back. I sent mine back. I am ordering a sylvania model that one forum poster said did have 4:3 option (but has a black bar across the top as well as the side of screen.) I'll let you know model number with link on amazon if it indeed works. STILL LATER: I did not send the unit back because none of these portable dvd players play 4:3 old tv aspect ratio. All the brands say they can but none of them can cuz they must use the same componentry. No one Chinese manufacturer wants to be the first to fess up that they cant actually play 4:3 ratio for fear you'll by from another manufacturer that's still willing to lie about this to get your business, consequently it ends up they all lie about it - so I kept the Wonnie because it is a very good value and thats all that's available. What I haven't tried is using the run out av cable suppied with the Wonnie into a separate monitor like a 24 inch LED tv screwed on a wall in a rv/trailer. I daresay your remote on that tv could give you the 4:3 aspect ration so this Wonnie could be your travel compact dvd player (though it wont play blue ray).

Easy and reliable!
I bought this DVD player 2 years ago for my camping trips. It has worked perfectly. I enjoy watching DVD movies because I don't always have an internet connection. This is a perfect solution!

It's good but has a short life span
I purchased this DVD player 2-1/2 years ago; after my previous portable DVD player of 15 years died. The measurements are not accurate. However, I looked passed that and kept it. This player was good when it worked in spite of the volume still being low even at the highest point. I know electronics, just like everything else is not made to last like they used to. But, I do expect things to last at least 5-7 years before having to purchase another, especially electronics. This player died after 2.5 years of owning it. I didn't even use it that much because i'm not traveling that much. First, the battery stopped holding the charge. Today, I tried to use it, its not reading the dvds. I don't think these new electronic companies are interested in long-term success. As mentioned my last player lasted 15 years, it was a Coby. Coby is no longer around but the company lasted at least 20 years with a solid reputation in electronics before its unfortunate demise.
