This thing is super cool
I put this together pretty easily. And am super satisfied with how it runs. It is a great project for price and if you're trying to work with PWM signals / a drivable device this is perfect. Cons: the directions could use some work but it wasn't too difficult to figure out some parts. Pros: when you're done you have sturdy tank body that is surprisingly agile.

Malware in PDF / Suspension useless
WARNING: The PDF instructions file contains malicious links. There are some problems with this product: 1. The paper instructions shipped with the product are incomplete. And the PDF instructions contain links to pages with phishing malware. 2. The Suspension bearings do not fit properly, causing the suspension arms to grind against the body when fasteners are tightened. The friction of the arm against the body renders the suspension ineffective or useless.

Pretty good, requires tinkering.
This is a fairly well designed kit. It comes with quite a bit of spare hardware which was a nice touch. I was short one M4 screw, but everything else there was more than enough of. It does need a bit of tweaking and a decent bit of intuition to assemble but the final result is honestly somewhat more robust than i was really expecting. I wouldn't plan on playing with it in the dirt and mud too much but it should hold up to anything else. I 3D printed some 4mm ID, 5.6mm OD spacers for the suspension pivots. Otherwise, I think the intent is to just leave those slightly loose with nylock nuts - doesn't work very well, which is kind of a shame as they provided bearings for those pivots but they're pointless while the aluminum suspension arms drag on the chassis rail. One of the motors was fine, well lubricated and well balanced. The other had poor lubrication in the gearbox and the motor armature is unbalanced. I don't think it will last. Both required their encoders to be straightened. Suggested tweaks: Slightly stretch the suspension springs to make them slightly softer. Not too much as the goal is for individual road wheels to conform to obstacles, rather than for the entire chassis to compress easier (ie. if pressed from the top.

Great robotics or RC tank chassis
While the printed instructions included in the kit are vague, the website offers a very good tutorial and terrific instructions. Very impressive and performing tank chassis when fully built. The shock absorbing suspension is simple and should allow a load capacity of 5-7lbs and allow for sufficient articulated movement.

Okay, received with broken motor
We will see how seller handles the motor situation. Other than that the kit seems alright.

It's okay for the money but was missing the 2mm axle screws.
Don't expect thorough instructions. I had to stop and think it through a couple times but I got the chassis assembled in about 2 hrs. It did not include the 2mm retainer screws needed to keep the wheels on the axle, so consider ordering a set (10 total). They'll need to have a wide head or washers. Other than the missing screws, I was pleasantly surprised that everything went together well. As far as durability, I think the frame is a bit on the flimsy side - I plan to add some bracing to keep the track frames rigid. The tracks are some kind of plastic/ABS and they are decently strong, although time will tell if they hold up, and they have zero traction on smooth floors. It is not fast at all but it has reasonable torque. The spring suspension is very firm - unless you have a heavy payload, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Missing parts
Although build quality seems ok, kit was completely missing crucial parts (springs nuts, bolts). Disappointed that I could not build the kit and wasted my money. I doubt the seller will send the required parts. Would not recommend this kit from this seller.

good design, poor execution
Kit was missing two critical parts. I have been in contact with the seller who says that they will send parts 'soon.' Additionally 3 of the 10 of the axel shafts were over-bored causing the machine screws required to retain them to strip the threads. I was able to re-bore/re-thread the shafts and use larger screws to solve the problem. Overall I like the design and think it will meet my needs once I cure the manufacturing/packaging defects. Sell has been prompt to respond, but as of this time has not informed me that parts have been shipped. We will see.
